Sam Young is huge and looked good in drills worked hard and was constantly giving Tyron Smith pointers. He looks like someone who is going to challenge Smith. I have to say Smith was big too!

#62 I believe Arkin really looked like a blue collar worker to me. Always hustling.

My opinion Choice was the better running back today over Felix. Just was seeing the hole better today.

Romo was pretty sharp just didn't like the fact he didn't go deep often. The couple he did he was successful and since it is practice I was hoping he would have done it more.

Dez looked awesome!

Church and AOA and starting corners were very aggressive today. Liked what I saw and #36 looked good was around the ball quite a bit.

Kickers #5 ball just seemed kicked better than Buehler. Buehler was upset he missed crowd booing when he missed.

Coach really impressed all were engaged and teaching every play.

Best part was when new drills would start Jason Garrett would jog to the next session and be first one ready to go. Other players were following his lead and hustling to the next session.

It was cool and I am typing from my phone so I apologize for any grammar errors.

Thanks for the great recap.

Did you feel Smith showed #1 potential? Heard he struggled a little today but that is expected.

They need to be aggressive and show the team that it only has to bring in one starting safety.

I'd say Church has the best shot of doing that, although I'd still rather the Cowboys end up with two vets at the positions.

Can you imagine Wade jogging to the next drill?:laugh2: I like the pace of the practices anyway.

Hey, no negative observations?

Tread lightly over here with that stuff Rosie, the realists will be quick to jump on you:cool:

Smith was not lazy and was working hard. He struggled against Ware at times but he did good a few times as well. I liked he was asking questions and you could tell he wanted to learn. I think he is gonna be a good one for us.

That's interesting because Calvin Watkins reported that FJ looked smooth and hit the hole very good today. Here is his direct quote: "With no Marion Barber on the roster, it allows Felix Jones to become the starting running back and he did a nice job running the ball with the team in shells. Jones hit the holes smoothly and showed a quick burst. He did drop a screen pass for his only mistake of the day. ..."

Felix had a few screens that he was in space and did what he did best but I would disagree that he was hitting the holes well today. Choice was hitting holes and making some nice cuts. Of course they were in shorts. It should be an interesting battle at RB once Murray comes into play as well. May the best back win, that's all I have to say.

Forgot to mention Olgetree had some nice grabs today, had crowd a few times. But then he had to drop one right in his hands! Then it was like here we go again.

I'm hoping Sam Young can play G.

He's going to be the swing guard for this team.... I think he shows promise there and I dont think they will hinder his growth by making him learn the guard position.

He'd make Larry Allen look like Deion :laugh2:

Just curious, how did Mike Jenkins look? I haven't really heard anything about him yet. Also, who was he up against?

Thanks.
