I think a lot of comments I see across the social media platform, they think the defense is way behind because, the offenses do look like they're lighting up our defense,
but like you stated, the should have plays, they're not taking guys to the ground, they're not even really making hard contact, so the defense is at a standstill right now literally and figuratively....
they're not counting sacks, they're allowing them to play through what would have been something to stop the Play, but they want to be able to still complete balls and get people in a flow.
So technically a lot of these catches that look like they're 30 yards they're really 8-10yards, it could have been a first down, maybe not because they're just basically touching these guys but you can't see it with the field level cameras.. They're following through on every run and every catch. that normally would have been stopped, and it all looks really big.
other than the deep balls it's not really that impressive it's a mirage right now the defense is not doing what they normally would do taking guys to the ground hitting them hard following through sacks and all that good stuff....
