Honest question. When's the last time one of our PS players went on to have a career in the NFL?

Alan Ball started the 2007 season on the practice squad.

yeah, but wasn't he graded as a third rounder on the cowboys board but for his degenerative knee that kept him from being drafted....

Yeah, well, then, there's not so many players there who've made it. Jesse Holley, maybe. Scott Chandler a few years back, if you count playing for the Bills as and NFL career. We got Jermy Parnell from the Saints squad, if that counts.

I didn't think he would but I've already eaten my crow over that. The PS is the perfect place for him if they can keep him there. I'm hoping we can find lineman worth developing and stash one or two.

glad to see Pellerin make it. He made some good plays in preseason. Wanna see what comes of him. Also Tanney as well

I think he played in Canada and had some time with the Patriots. Not a typical preseason scrub; this guy can play some.

Me, either. I still suspect they're counting on a team not picking him up and adding him back in later. It was a safe bet at least one of him and Pellerin was going to make it through waivers, so, if they needed an extra roster spot for a few days, they might have rolled the dice on him.

It might also be that they'll add a vet or two after week one, when they retain more roster flexibility from there on out.

Benford looked alot better in the games i saw. Good list overall.. no real suprises.

Exactly what I've been setting here asking myself. A lot of fuss over guys who will most likely never make a roster. These guys have hard jobs. Good jobs, but hard. They get paid about $6-$7K a week, which is good money for guys who would most likely be selling insurance if they weren't on the PS. However, every year we go on and on about who these guys are and the truth is, more than likely we will never know..

Rather have Stephens than Tanney. He's got a better Pro Arm.
