practice squad

i really want to have 10 PS spots but mainly i want to have two spots on the practice squad that skip the waiver wire. think about it, we do the work, we scout the talent but we are just a little deep at a spot or two and we have to hope a guy we really like makes it through to our PS.

two spots for each team to stash away guys that show promise, thats all i want. is that too much to ask?

Well, the players on the squad wont like it unless it means extra pay, and even then it means the loss of a chance to be on some team's 53.

oh man great point i didnt think about that.

i think a little extra pay is warrented in my scenerio though, i think the might appreciate the fact that the team doesnt want them going some where else though, shows they have a chance.
