Doug Free, Zack Martin not on practice field for second straight day. Rolando McClain had returned to practice. No Josh Brent, Dekoda Watson
Oh yeah - Tony Romo on the field. So is DeMarco Murray. He is expected to take some team snaps today.
Same work for Murray as yesterday so far. In team take off he's off to side Dunbar is with the 1s today
Running through pass catching drill Murray takes a slight hit with blocking pad protecting ball with both hands.

Tony Romo working on handoffs with DeMarco Murray

it looks like Murray will play. I really wanted Murray to get to 2000 yards this year but it probably won't happen.

I still think he'll have his best game of the season against the Colts to make it a real possibility.

I was being tongue in cheek about some sentiments around here that Emmitt is all about Emmitt. I have no doubt that he gave good advise.

I think he really doesn't care if Murray breaks that one!

I think the one who had a legit shot was AP but now being away for a year, idk anymore since it's more of a passing league now, although we are seeing teams like of course, Our Dallas Cowboys going to the old approach, smash mouth in the trenches open up some passes.

Not only is it a passing league, but running-by-committee is much more favoured now than when Emmitt played. To break Emmitt's record, you have to be the bell cow for 12-15 years. To break Emmitt's record, you have to average 1,500 yards for 12 years! Mind boggling when you think about it.

Murray is certainly the bell cow this year for Dallas. But that's more an exception to the rule nowadays.

Emmitt's all time rushing record is going to be around for a long, long time.
