I see they're starting to shift the narrative to us having a great defense to explain the offensive struggles.

I don't trust that for a second.

I think the offense is just not going to be very good, regardless of how good our defense is or not.

I think the defense showed that it could be pretty good against other teams, though, last year, so some credit goes to them. I trust the stuff more against the offensive line (pass rush and run defense) than I do in the secondary right now, because we know more about our OL than we do about these receivers.

I hope the defense is great.

I'm a sucker for great defense.

I don't hold any weight on how they do against our offense because I'm highly down on our offense this year. We'll see very early on this season if our defense is for real or not.

There are definitely reasons to be concerned about the offense, so I understand your point of view. I feel pretty good, though, about what Quinn accomplished with the defense last year (it was very good most of the time, great a few times, and meh a few times) and hope that he can take it up a notch his second year. There are a few areas with it, particularly interior defensive line, that could keep it from reaching the great level on a regular basis.

Like your recent post, the Commanders could start the season 3-1? But wait, the Cowboys need to "show me on the field when it matters". As stated before, at times you're a good poster but this kind of crap makes it hard to take you seriously.

What does a prediction have to do with anything?

I predicted 8-9 for the Cowboys this season. Does that that prediction not count either?
