Washington could be good, but the league saw something. 2 other tight ends went after Schoonmaker and before Washington . Every team in the league passed on Washington after Schoonmaker was picked.
I thought it had something to do with an injury, but I could be wrong.

He is what he is - a 4.56 guy.
Yeah. If he had been a 4.4 guy, he would have gone several rounds earlier, even at his size. Being small and not having blazing speed is why we got him when we got him. His game is built more on his quickness than his speed.

LOL. I literally read it 10 times. I haven't a clue.

Yeah, but he is going against the biggest and badest mofo's in the NFL. Do you think an opposing team is going to treat him with much respect? Hell no. I mean, watching him in practice I've seen where a linebacker can just push him down without even tackling him if they want to.

If he somehow does show something that will trick the opposing team on a long run or catch, you think they are going to giggle and say, oh how cute he is. Hell no, they will want to take him out of the game if the can. He is a gadget is all. Oh, I'll hope for the best for him, but I really don't like what I see out of him.
I understand the reasoning. Although he is even smaller than Sproles, no one expected what he did either. Everyone is pulling for the kid. Lets hope we catch lightning in a bottle too!!

He's still 5'5 175. Dont see him going much higher, even if he ran a 4.3. But maybe. Certainly wouldnt hurt.

Which is why I'm surprised that he isn't cut yet. I know he was a draft pick, but that was 3 years ago, and we have a massive amount of WRs still to sort through. I don't see why they should waste anymore time on Simi Fehoko.
You are bad at math. He was drafted in 2021, that is two years ago. This is the start of a 3rd season.

They don't have to cut anybody yet. You don't cut a player at this point.

Unless you're trying to bring someone in, I suppose. And they did just cut the kicker. I'm curious who is replacing the kicker they cut. As for Fehoko, I suppose, but surely there are more pressing needs than another WR.

De'Von Achane isn't that much bigger, but runs a 4.3 and went in the third round. Maybe his height bought him a round over Vaughn, but his speed might have bought him two.

Achane is 5'9" which is sunstantially bigger. Achane never has lookied like a midget among trees. Also, Achane carried the load in the SEC, not the BDF12. Huge difference.

He's 5'9 187. Thats 4 inches and 12lbs.

12 lbs of good weight is a LOT for someone that size.
