Did they protect him? Every QB gets sacked and hit regardless of how good their OL is but there is not a QB as vulnerable to that in the league as Romo and one that has never learned to get rid of the ball.

Could he protect himself with a slide? The man can't even handle a simple slide because his body is just too beat up. Every DC we'll face knows how to hit this team. Take him out and it will fold only there is this new kid in town that they're not to sure about. They bring the pressure on him, he might just make them pay. Romo can no longer do that. He is a liability at QB now.

He can slide just fine. Some of you have really gone off the deep end with this.

Romo needs to wear that flak jacket for rest of career, maybe even some medievel armor.
It wouldn't be unprecedented. Sir Big Ben Roethlisberger has definitely strolled onto the field like an armored knight while recovering from some injuries.

I have read most of your posts regarding Romo, as a fan aren't you the least bit worried that the next hit could be his last? not too mention the liability he has become for this team?

No I'm not worried, that's the doctors' job. 99% of the "Oh my God, Romo will never walk again, please retire" posts are from card-carrying Romo haters who want him off the field even if healthy. I guess they think no one will notice.

Two years ago he played with two fractures after a couple of weeks. Endured a flight to London to do so.

So let's put the dumb emojis away
Look, I love me some Romo, but if they clear him to play, either the severity of his condition has been grossly exaggerated, or the FO is willing to let him be hurt even worse. I don't think he's playing.

i can't help but think they wanted to X-ray his hands after dropping that long pass from Dak.

Media are the ones with the 6-10 week projection. 6-10 weeks for the bone to heal. Question is whether he can play before the bone is healed. He did two years ago.

I'll believe he is out when the Cowboys say he is.

Romo was ready to go back in vs Seattle..

He won't have to play for 2 weeks.

Garrett has said he has played with a broken bone in his back before.
If he plays the first game, they will take him off on a stretcher.

This is probably why he's f****** up now. You can't play with broken bones and things of that nature and think you can continue to be healthy.

no surprise

Since we've never had a winning season with him playing, it's best to lose him now!
