Obviously the on-field rivalry goes out the window when something tragic like this happens. It's interesting that you all were adult enough to figure that out while many of the Gnats and Fecals fans could not.

Even now, I almost still can't believe this has actually happened. Today feels a lot like the day Len Bias died. Sean will be sorely missed by our fans so I can only imagine the hurt and loss his family feels.

What a tragic and completely unnecessary loss of a life. As a football fan, I deeply respected ST abilities on the football field and I know that he will be missed on the field.

As a father, I grieve for the little girl who will grow up without knowing her Daddy. I grieve for the memories and the experiences she has had taken away from her by a senseless and despicable sense of violence.

As an American I grieve for the social destruction and lawlessness of men who hold life in such disregard.

As a Christian I am comforted in the fact that he is truly in a better place, that he is at peace, and without pain. I pray for his friends and family that they might be comforted in this dark time, that they have something to hold onto to assist them in this their darkest hour. I gladly and freely join my fellow brothers and sisters on this board in extending my deepest condolences to the Taylor Family, and to the Commander Nation as a whole.

#21 will be missed, the NFL and its fans will forever remember the impact this young man had on the game.

Our hearts hurt today. May we all keep a piece of 21 in our hearts and mind forever.

God Speed young man, you will be missed.

Not much anyone can say when a tragedy like this happens. A 24 year old father lost his life for ......nothing!!!!! Some idiot with a gun just decided to shoot someone for some yet to be determined reason. My heartfelt condolences to Sean Taylor's family and friends and Commander Nation. RIP # 21.

I really liked Sean Taylor, I believe he was good for the game, and I believe what happen to him was unfortunate. I will keep the family, friend, and fans in prayer.

I believe you were the best all-around safety in football, I really hated admitting it diffently when we compared you to Roy Williams, because of the rivalry, but that's the god and honest truth. I hope you Rest In Peace. I really loved watching you on TV making game highlight hits which will be memorable. If I had to tell you a memory I had with you in a Dallas game it would be the Monday Football Game when you hit Patrick Crayton.....WAH! ... By me and many others you will be remembered.
