Moton and Jarrad Davis don't belong at all.

Hasson Reddick needs to be at least in the conversation. Same with Taco. He's raw and inconsistent, but he has the length, burst, and flexibility traits of a good pass rusher.

I'm guessing OP really doesn't like Malik McDowell? Not even an honorable mention?

I'm going to respectfully, but forcefully, disagree with you on that FSU tape. He was disruptive on a lot, if not most, plays. I'll give you he screwed up his run lanes a couple of times but otherwise he looked like Bosa 2.0. Needs more pass rush moves but he seems to have the hands to learn them.
Missed his run lanes for big gains by Cook. One almost went for like an 70 yard td. He got pancaked several times. I will give you this he looked awesome on the sack when nobody blocked him. He did show some nice spins that got shut down. He was also able to get around a few times on a spin.

We are just not recalling the same proportion of things. Outside the bad run lanes. He looked every bit a top-15 pick to me. If we all saw things the same we'd have nothing to talk about I suppose.

What about the W game?

Ok, now in this game he was handled very well by the Wisconsin tackles. I'd be very interested to have either of them on my team.

Taco still showed some nice athleticism and more motor than he gets credit for. He also made some nice plays but it happened at the same time a teammate did so it wasn't as spectacular. But then again, he benefited from the RB blocking the RT on one of his good plays so I can't give him points on that.

Overall if this was all anyone saw of Taco then they might not think much. His spin move was all he had working and the LT figured it out pretty quick. It looks like he was frustrated and lost his discipline on running plays allowing himself to be turned sideways a couple of times. Not a great tape for him, I'll concede that.

Ryan Ramczyk is a player and why he will be one of the first 3 OL off the board. He is the reason Taco didn't have a good day. Taco will face guys like him every down in the nfl.

No OT Garrett Bolles? No TE Evan Engram? No CB TreDavious White? And IMO Lamp goes before Moton. And liking that Reddick is not considered a first. Not believing, but liking.

I'd say you're on the right track with your comment but you go a little overboard.

Will the competition generally be better in the NFL than college for Taco? Yes. Will every OL he plays in the NFL be better than Ramczyk is right now? No. I think Ramczyk right now is probably better than many NFL OTs from day 1, that's why he'll be a first rounder and play from day 1 for his team as a starter.

If I had one game to play as Dallas right now and I could have him or Free, I'd take Ramczyk. If I was the Giants and I had one game and I could take him or Flowers, I'd take Ramczyk.

Also I plan for Taco to be coached into becoming a better player. I'm sure whoever gets Ramczyk expects the same. I see enough in Taco to think he can be made into a very fine if not great DL. I would also love to have Ramczyk on the right side of our OL. That would be flat out unfair.

Mahomes is going to be the fast rising QB because teams are so desperate for QBs who ends up, not surprisingly, stinking the bed.

I don't trust kids that play in these air raid style offenses like Baylor and TT.

This kid is different. He has "it". He just needs a good QB coach.

@sadams

I'm surprised that you don't have Peppers as a 1st round grade. Is it because you're not sure where he'll play position-wise? He certainly seems to have the atheleticism and he makes plays left and right.

He probably does go in the first round. heck may even to Dallas. He is a SS that will likely kick to LB on passing downs. I dont thin he is a FS. His return ability makes him even more appealing for Dallas. He was a LB at ND. He would be and may get on the first round board after the combine. I want to see him run and drills to see if looks like a LB or a Safety.

The team will probably have about 18 first round grades.

There may be 3 QBs drafted before us but I think only one would carry a true first round grade. The rest are projects with upside.

How are you choosing your players? True grade or where you think they will be taken?

I really think the defensive ends are slightly over hyped. I don't see that many true first round grades out of that bunch, mostly guys that should carry second round grades going in the first round.
