Wanted to do another mock draft before the combine just to learn a little more about the prospects. I had DT and CB high on my needs list with the assumption that we'll lose Byron Jones and possibly Maliek Collins. As in the past they will probably sign some veterans to fill positions but probably not any elite talents. I'm also assuming they will sign Dak and Amari to some sort of deal. This draft used OnTheClock and the recently updated Matt Miller big board. I'll go ahead and concede in advance that there is a good probability that none of these players will be available at these spots.

R1P17 DL Javon Kinlaw South Carolina It probably won't happen but this is a good example of a top rated player falling to us at 17, if his medicals are good we would run to the podium. The same would be true for the other top 10-prospects except probably QB. If a QB fell we might be able to leverage an advantageous trade with a team in need of a QB. There seems to be a lot of talent in the late first to early second rounds. Both SB teams had a very good interior defensive lineman with Jones and Buckner and Kinlaw could be ours. If they are able to keep Quinn, the combination of him, Lawrence, and Kinlaw would outstanding on passing downs.

R2P19 CB Bryce Hall Virginia There was a run on CBs so if we lose Jones and don't sign a starting caliber free agent they may need to pick one with one of our first two picks. This pick would depend on his medicals but Hall was rated a first round talent before an ankle injury and could turn out to be a good player for us and he's a good tackler.

R3P18 WR Denzel Mims Baylor If they sign Cooper and Cobb it may not be a glaring need but this draft has some talented WRs and I would love to use one of our first three picks on one. Mims had a really good Senior Bowl and showed good route running ability. He has a large catch radius which would be good for Dak and looks very fast so it will be fun to see what he's timed at.

R4P17 TE Harrison Bryant Florida Atlantic Lance Zierlein compared him to George Kittle noting both blocking toughness and speed and separation talent.

R5P18 RB Lamical Perine Florida We don't have a high need for RB with Pollard and Elliot but if one of them gets hurt a fifth round pick isn't that expensive to bring someone in to compete for a roster spot. In his highlights Perine looks like a good receiver down field with good vision, speed, and the ability to run through arm tackles.

R5P33 S J. R. Reed Georgia Ideally I would like to draft a safety earlier but Reed is great value late in the fifth.

R7P17 LB Daniel Bituli Tennessee We could use LB depth and Bituli is good value in the seventh round.

If only this would come true. I'd be as happy as a puppy with two tails.

I could really live with this. I have watched a lot of rb's and Perine is one of just a few I haven't looked at yet. I like what I see there

Really great job, loved the draft. Was thinking if you could follow that up with maybe some free agents just to see how the roster would turn out. Seems like you have great insight on the draft, perhaps I can get some more ideas from you in free agency.

Again, great job

Like this draft a lot.

Though starting with Kinlaw is a little meh, since he probably won't be there.

Love Perine. RB could be a sneaky pick in this draft. I don't see Dallas chancing another season with only 2 backs on the roster, and they may take a later round guy.

Thanks, I really like the way LatinMind has been doing that. To be honest most of the free agents they sign I never saw coming so it probably wouldn't be very accurate.

To be honest neither are our much drafts but yet we still do them. At any rate, I still enjoyed the mock draft
