1. Timmy Jernigan DT Florida State
Big wide body that can get off the snap and over power his man. Solid 1tech

2. Marcus Smith DE Louisville
Passrushing DE who can get up the field with a variety of moves. Perfect rotational player

3. Shayne Skov LB Stanford
New Starting SAM LBer. Tackling machine who never stops moving. Can backup ILB aswell

4. Dominique Easley DT Florida
3tech DT who if not for being injured wouldve been the 1st DT taken in this draft.

5. Michael Schofield G Michigan
Guy who can play 3 spots on the OL. Can push for a starting spot too

6. Trade up with 2 of Dallas 7s
6. Ben Gardner DE Stanford
Monster on the strong side. BG is going to be one of the steals of this draft.

7.(KC) L'Damian Washington WR Missouri
Tall Fast wr who can stretch the field when needed and can create mismatches in the redzone

Comp picks
Ken Bishop DT N Illinois
Silas Redd RB USC
Ik Enemkpali DL Louisiana Tech

Yea me either but it is possible. Consecutive season lost to an ACL will scare the crap out of a bunch to teams. If this guy could stay healthy he would have been a top 10 pick easy.

Solid mock draft but Jernigan scares me to much. If we do select him I would hope that we traded way down and secured some extra picks.

Would love this draft. I kinda agree that Easley won't last that long. Wouldn't surprise me if 1 of the good teams grab him at the end of the 2nd.

Schofield wouldn't be my choice of o lineman there either. Give me Spencer Long, Ryan Groy, or Cameron Fleming in the 5th Id be extremely happy with everything. Good job.

Easley is going to drop for 1 thing. He's not going to be ready to work at the combine. And probably not his proday. so teams are going to go in blind at the draft. usually these types of things drop people.Easley is a 3RD round guy right now. I think he drops.

I agree with this. He's going to have a tough time putting up any numbers at the combine. He may show up to interview and lift, that kind of thing but he's an unknown at this point. Add to that, the fact that he is small for the interior line. He might end up being an End.

I think he slides a little also.

I can see the DE too, but them ACL injuries will have taken some of his speed. I think he would do himself some good if he went to the combine between 290-295 so teams atleast know he can add the weight to be a DT.

I was actually thinking 34 DE but yes, I agree. The 290-295 weight should not be a problem for him. He played at around 285-290 at Florida this season so he could probably hit that if he's working out right.

Sorry but its not 1999 any more, doctors are doing these ACL surgeries with their eyes closed. The player has to put in a lot of hard work, but in todays day and age there is no reason to believe they won't be back 100% in 9-12 months. Easley was desisted to be a 1st round pick if he avoided injury. I just don't see him dropping to the 4th.

I dont know if Skov covers well enough. I would not mind seeing Lee move outside though. I think he would get hurt less there.

Well, I know we are old and all but since Easley was injured on Sept. 26th, 9 months would be 4 months too late for the combine. Add to that that it is the 2nd injury to the same knee and I am not so optimistic that he will be ready to go by the time the Combine, or the Pro Days are completed.

The injuries were to different knees. And no of course he won't be ready for the combine. My point was more that teams feel a lot more comfortable drafting guys with acl injuries than in the past. Plus by the time mid May rolls around he should be more than far enough along in his rehab that teams will have a good idea of his timetable for return and how the knee is healing. There is more than enough great tape of Easley for a team to take the risk in the late 2nd/early 3rd.

OK, if it was the other knee, I'm not sure that's better. Both knees injured is not really a better situation IMO. However, in his previous knee injury, it was not just ACL. It was also meniscus. As I said earlier, I don't believe teams will be as confident, especially having not been able to actually see how it effects him. He may be well on his way to recovery but you can't know if he will come back just as quick, just as strong or have the same range of motion etc. These are all things that will be question marks. If a team takes him early, that's fine but I think he might slide.

This would work. Although, unless we get a S in FA, we have to get someone. I'm a big fan of Skov, That would be a good pick....

i just get the feeling Dallas feels they are ok letting Wilcox or Heath win the job. A offseason will do these guys good like it did for Church

Then I doubt very highly he is on Dallas' board. No injury prone players.

He isnt injury prone. He tore his acl in a game and Tore his other ACL in a freak non contact drill, but having them 2 acl injuries are scary

Easley is a talented player, no doubt 1st round talent if he was healthy. Although I felt he looked a little light to be a defensive tackle.

But he seems like the type of player Dallas drafts in the 2nd round.
