Round One- D.J Fluker - Alabama - OT - 6'6 350, I'm ready to get some bookends for the next 10 plus years. Next order of business cut Free and use money for a Brendan Moore type G TO GO NEXT TO HIM.

Round Two- Eric Reid - Lsu - FS- 6'2 218- Very physical and athletic has to know when to dial it down sometimes can be overly aggresive. Familiar with Claiborne ex teammates. Can't go wrong with Cyprien or Elam here, however might not be there.

Round Three- Brian Schwenke- C - 6'3 307 - I know i'm heavy Ol in First three however even with Romo's contract being restructured we don't have much to play with in FA. DRAFT IS THE WAY TO GO- IE: San fran's resurgance started happening with picks on OL. We can't keep putting bandaids in place Tony is 32, can't get away forever. Schwenke, low center of gravity, quick hands inital pop.

Round Four- Le'Veon Bell- RB - Michigan St - 6'2 235 - led Big ten1,700 yards on 4.7 a carry Strong build, however still light on his feet. Needs some work on pass protect but perfect compliment to Murray!!!

Round Five- Brandon McGee- CB - Miami(Fla)- 5'11 195 - Depth guy with Ball leaving, has good size, controlled footwork Can locate high point and secure ball. Still room for improvement but like i said depth guy.

Round Six- Aaron Mellette - Wr- Elon - 6'3 218 - Small school guy Big and athletic. Natural catching with hands and knows how to use size to box out defenders. As with most big guys lacks elite speed still in 4.5 range has to improve route running but good project with his size.

Is it possible that Fluker the same player as Doug Free?

Flucker's game is about power while Free is a finesse guy. Definitely not the same kind of player

IMO, they have the opposite weaknesses. Free has good foot speed but terrible anchor strength and upper body strength.

Fluker is probably more powerful than the average NFL OT, but his foot quickness is well below average.

I don't want either playing OT for the Cowboys. Fluker might be a great NFL OG however.

Free has good speed?why does he make a good impression of a turnstile then? We put too much importance on combine numbers for olinemen.

If you mean "same player" as in not a fit for RT at the next level, it's possible. However, if you mean that in the literal sense, I'd have to say no. I believe that even if Fluker can't play RT in the NFL, I think he's a RG for sure. The only thing I'd worry about with Fluker is that he might eat his way out of the NFL. He seems to get winded and that's a problem. I would love to see what he could be at 325.

I really like Fluker but the two things I worry about with him is 1) his weight and 2) the fact that he may only be a RG is problematic as well. If he is only a RG, then I don't know if he is worth a 1st or 2nd, which is what I think it would take to draft him.

Fluker is a bust and no way the center makes it to our 3rd round pick.

no Dline at all?

I was going to say. 1 of the best drafts in years for d-lineman and not 1.

Should have d-lineman, o-lineman, a safety and a rb because that's where the value and needs are on this team.

There is no doubt that Free had trouble with power rushers, but it also seemed as though he was having trouble with speed rushers as well, as evidenced by his many false starts. It seemed as though he was trying to get an early start to get into position. Am I reading the tea leaves wrong regarding him dealing with speed rushers?

mixed feelings about Fluker...
think its entirely possible Ball could be a complete bust too although I would love to see a big RB that can move the pile.

The problem with Free is that due to a lack of upper body strength (shoulders/arms/hands) he must get his body into perfect position against speed rushers.

Most NFL OTs have long and strong arms and can still make a block when not in perfect position. Free can't.

If Free didn't have above average foot quickness he wouldn't stand a chance at making a block.

This is why I never felt like he could be a RT. I think that he could be a LT in the league if he played with a strong LG. I don't think he's ever going to be a RT. When he gets beaten at LT, it's to the inside when they come back across his face. I just think it's a fail to play him at RT and expect him to be able to succeed. He would have to improve drastically, not only in his physical abilities but his mentality is wrong for RT IMO as well.

I have my fingers crossed!

He's a piece of garbage, and likely our first round pick if he's available. PLEASE let some other dumb team take him in the top 17!

Count me as one of the posters that hopes we do not draft him as well.

In my opinion if Rat is still here, I'm not going DL and you have your lineman your saftey and runningback.
