Feel the same way about him as I did DeSean Jackson last year, he will be a major thorn in our side.

Going to watch him abuse Newman and company twice a year I guess.

Will trade him to my Madden team tho

Once a year, don't see Newman staying healthy all year long. Glad we're well past the days of Reeves starting.

I think the Giants reached on Nicks, imo. Gosselin had him ranked number 40, I think. The Titans and Giants were forced to take a WR in round 1, because they knew it was their only shot at getting one of the top tiered guys.

Both franchises despise taking them in round 1, and both had to bite the bullet after failing to acquire Edwards or Boldin.

Plenty of room on that Giant bandwagon for you to go cheer that on.

Dont let the door hit you in the arse on the way out.

No bandwagon but I dont see Dallas touching the playoffs again this season. And come on Newman and company get abused every season.

sure he does dude...thats why he's a top 5 CB in the league, because he is every WR's easiest day

as for the playoffs, we shall see...like I said, plenty of room for you to bail to some other team...

I hate Newman man. lmao. And I love the boys but they are 3rd best team in the NFC East. I got Philly at #1 for this season

Now that was just stupid. When he's healthy he is one of the very best in the game.

Our best CB last season was Pacman. Newman is NEVER healthy so umm cant see how you rank him anywhere in the top 20

Time for a Terence Newman background for me. To remind me of this nonsense.

Talent wise I actually think Tate > Nicks. Nicks looks pretty slow when he plays, I'm not sure if he can separate from NFL corners who are going to press the hell out of him. Tate looks shiftier out of the two. I was pretty surprised how high everyone was on Nicks. A lot of people seem to think he'll be a great possession WR. That might be true cause he has great catching ability, but he does not have the height (6'0 feet tall?) to convince me of so. I was surprised the Patriots got Tate that early.

:laugh2:

I remember the OP loving and supporting Quincy, too.

BTW, I'm more worried about Maclin. Possession guys don't scare me all that much.

I'm willing to go to camp and into preseason with the WRs we have...I am not in favor of bringing in any vets off the scrap heap.

I want to see what the younger guys can actually do, and we'll never know if we don't play them.

Either Roy Williams will be at least a good WR and the young guys will get the job done.....or they won't and we'll have to overhaul the position.

But I'm tired of never giving the young guys a chance. Other young players have managed to play well all over the league because they had to...it's time to take the hand off the freakin' bike and see what they can do. I'm totally against putting on another set of training wheels.

Tate will be a beast for the patsies. He was my pet cat. Nicks will be good but will struggle to seperate at times. Seperation ain't no prob for Tate. He can fly.

Like I said I am worried but we have what we have. Hate when we say we don't give our youngsters a chance, they are on the team so they have had a chance for years now. It is time for them to step up and make it happen. It hasn't happened yet so I am not holding my breath, fingers are crossed but that's it.
