ESPN analysts are saying that Romo needs to not hold onto the ball as much and stop trying to constantly make the super hero play in order to stay healthy.


They used Tom Brady as a comparison of a aging QB that gets rid of the ball quick but Garrett doesn't use a lot of those quick passes in his offense.

The backs will be catching a lot of passes IMO. That is part of the hidden idea with Elliott. He is not going to be getting all his touches running the ball.

Agree, he's accurate enough To make those short passes quickly on 3 to 5 step drops

no. He hasn't practiced essentially the whole camp. We will be lucky to see him at all this summer.

Cowboys fans and local media don't know how good he is now? I would think last years 1-11 season and 3-1 with Romo would've put that to rest.

Same.. I liked Dak before we drafted him.. I don't think he has huge upside but I think he can be a solid NFL backup. Maybe he can be a little better than that with his ability to run.

It's one of my biggest points of justifying him #4 overall. He has virtually no flaws in his game and fills their need for the Dunbar type ability as a pass catcher.

They don't. Romo is used as a punchline via all the local media sans Todd Archer all year. Anytime the rangers, stars or mavs lose they start in with the romo crap. The radio stations have been filled with doubt since day 1. Its endless.

and as far as fans go there are still people that sit near me in the stadium that complain about romo not being a starter. Guy sits behind me and a few seats down and complains after every incompletion and credits the wr every good play. Makes me mental.

He is and has been severely under appreciated. He has been exploited and used for attention but never by any stretch appreciated.
