I agree that it was a difficult catch, but when you're fighting for that final receiver spot, you've got to make the tough ones.

Devin Smith is much, much better.

Smith was definitely one to keep an eye on going into this preseason. Skill was there to get him drafted in the second round, but those back-to-back ACL tears are terrible luck. Who knows, maybe he can pull off a Jimmy Smith-type comeback from his injury.

Maybe both then? Practice squad requirements are so dumb, but I don't see Olumba making it through waivers so I'm not sure trying with him either would be a good idea.
