I think it's to decide whether or not to keep them or move on. Knight & Steele are the leaders, along with a bunch of other linemen - both offensive & defensive.

They’re just kicking the tires on the bottom of the roster and the rookies. It was interesting that McGovern played the most ST snaps. That’s kind of lousy if Williams, McGovern, Steele, and Knight are on the bubble.

Steele has been awful in the preseason in my opinion. He and Nsekhe better not have to play because both have looked horrible in the preseason games.
