Sign Dez, Murray, Free, Paea, Spencer. Bring Carr back at lower price.

1) Markus Golden DE

2) Jay Ajayi RB

3) Kurtis Drummond FS

4) Anthony Chickillo DT/DE

5) Jake Ryan OLB

You ask why draft a RB in 2 if we are keeping Murray? 1) One day within the next 2 years Murray will wake up and be a 3.5 YPC back all of a sudden. 2) To help prevent from wearing him out during the season so he has gas left in the tank in December and January. 3) Take advantage of holes our OL makes by bringing in a complete back with fresh legs. 4) The reason we didn't rest Murray more is we really don't have a #2 back. We have 2 #3 backs who are scat backs and homerun hitters who also strike out a lot. Randle not physical enough to get the ugly 2's and 3's when you need them (Felix).

I really like a lot of those players. Golden at 27 is a good pick IMO. He is NFL ready and could be a valuable part of a DE rotation.

Ajayi is probably my favorite back in the draft, although it is still early. If Murray does go somewhere else, I'd be fine with Ajayi competing with Randle, Williams and Dunbar for snaps. He'd be very good in this scheme, IMO.

Love Drummond too. The guy is a player IMO. The problem is I think he'll be gone before we pick in the 3rd. We would probably have to take him in the second and by the time the draft rolls around... he might go before that even. IMO he is the type of player that holds up to scrutiny and will rise on draft boards.

Maybe a little early for Chickillo but if Marinelli likes him enough to take him in the 4th, I'm not going to complain.

Ryan fits Marinelli's defense to a tee, so if he's there in the 5th, I could see it happening. I'm not just crazy about him but again, if Marinelli likes him then I'm fine with it.

You and I are 2 of a handful of people who like Golden at 27.

I'm tanking Ajayi with or without Murray. We don't have a #2 back behind Murray. We have 2 scat backs. Even with Murray 2 years from now Ajayi is the guy and he'll be 23-24.

Love what a true FS could add to this D but not sure I see them drafting one.

Chickillo is very interesting. Turned alot of heads at the Shrine game. Probably was a poor fit for a 3-4 in college. Is he playing the SR Bowl?

I like all the players but think you drafted them all a round to early. Maybe a trade back into the top half of the 2nd and I will be ok with Golden.

Like them all except for Ryan. He cannot cover. If you are going to play in our defense as a LBer, you need to cover better than average and Ryan is not even close to average.

I went into watching Drummond wanting to like him because of his measurables, but I came away disliking him a lot...wouldn't even crack my top 6 or 7 safeties honestly. The guy just takes bad angle after bad angle. He'd 've a liability if left alone single high in my opinion. Not much of a tackler either.

I like every other player you took though. They all fill needs and have high upside (besides Ryan but he has other intangibles)

Not a fan.

Just don't like Golden so no way you sell me we should take him in the 1st. I wouldn't like that pick in the 2nd round.

I like Jay Ajayi but 2nd round seems high for him.

I love Michigan State defenders but Drummond isn't overly impressive. He's a slightly more athletic Barry Church to me.

Not a Chickillo fan and like Alexander said, Ryan is too stiff.

Good. Hopefully we draft them way too early like Frederick and Hitchens.

I was fine with the Frederick pick. Never thought that was an early pick. Hitchens was 4th round can't really reach on a 4th rounder.

Ok, then you and the Cowboys were the only ones who had that high of a grade on Frederick. Hitchens had a 6th round grade.

Can't reach on a 4th? McGee, Bruce Thornton and 8-10 others over last ten years say hello.

but who else is there when you pick in the 4th. Dallas had a 4th round grade on him so thats not reaching. I had Frederick as my 35 best player in that draft and only 19 with 1st round grades. Dallas was said to have only 16 with 1st round grades. They dont use CBSsports like you are. They grade them selves. I have Golden as a 2nd round pick late. Now after seeing his short arm measurement I see why he had bad pass rush moves with his arms.

You think he is a 1st round pick, good for you but I think there are several players better than he is and several DEs too.

I make my own projections. If I was relying on CBS Sports I wouldn't have Golden and Rollins as potential first rounders.

I never go to CBS sports. Listening Dane Brugler on the Draft Show on DC.com now though and didn't realize he had us taking Rollins in a mock the other day at 27.

I like rollins but when I saw that I was l Iike come on. Why take a CB in the 1st that only played college football for 1 year.

From what I have seen rare ball skills and isn't afraid to hit. He acts like the ball is his when it's in the air. Now he does have short arms, but short armed guards don't get 200 steals unless they have off the charts quickness, instincts and anticipation.

I like him just wouldn't spend a 1st on him. Only 1 year playing football
