It seems like we used way less pre-snap motion against the Bills than we have been lately. There were some threads earlier this year that spoke to our lack of motion earlier in the year. Then it seemed like we turned the corner after the 49'ers game and viola, our offense took off.

Someone had posted links or graphs on the rankings of each team using pre-snap motion and how it made the offense more productive.

Just curious if those stats also can tell us if we use more pre-snap motion at home than on the road?

Or am I just crazy?

The motion made it easier for Dak to read the Defense and get the ball out much faster. Not sure exactly what changed on Sunday, but Buffalo did a much better job disguising the coverage.

Indoor team that struggles outdoors. No need to complicate it anymore than that

They took away all the short stuff, brought seven to the box.
the rain factored in with weather elements. Causing the backs to slip whenever they turned.
The O line couldn't hold up long enough, forcing Dak to throw ball sooner.
Got to get props to the bills they're used to playing in the rain.
Dallas is indoor team

Noise as well… not as much “here we go”… was all silent count stuff which seemed to throw off dak comfort level.

We did take that shot deep early which almost worked… dunno why we didn’t try it again

This. The team doesn’t seem to communicate well on the road.

You're not crazy I noticed it too. It seems like we're good for out-coaching ourselves once or twice each season.

Perhaps it ( pre-snap motion) ..was watered down cuz of the loud hostile Bill's crowd noise ??

But they scored 40 in week 1 didn't they? Not sure if it's just an excuse of not being indoors.
Let's recap those 40 points - blocked FG for a TD, a pick six, a 38 yard drive after another pick, and a bunch of field goals.

The offense gained 265 yards that night, just 70 more than they gained at Buffalo. Defense/takeaways were the difference.

From my understanding its way harder to do it on the road with crowd noise.

Reality is like the stock market...got to have ups and downs....cant make sense.

Thats why there is propaganda that suggests "Utopia is Dystopia"

The World doesnt want things to make sense.

To your point...and I have beat this drum around here numerous times but everyone seems to side step it(by design)...

Kellen Moore two or three years ago showed a scheme that everyone was calling for...but then mysteriously stopped doing it. Everyone was saying motion is how to beat defenses and zones...it forces the defense to show their hand. Well...Kellen showed that he was capable and for like 3 games in a row we had motion and receivers wide open...then it mysteriously stopped happening.

This whole board is side stepping this claim. No one can give a reasonable answer on why this was shown and then went away. Something isnt making sense...but I guess thats what the World wants and this is all fake.

Everyone side steps it. And I suspect more side stepping and weak excuses. "Utopia is Dystopia" is a trash excuse...just like the movie Whiplash. Its all propaganda

Not sure what this means? The argument you initially made was they are an indoor team. Then you post all of the stuff they did in week one as if to back the claim up….maybe you’re saying the offense can’t play outside of domes? Because the team as a whole played well week 1.

I felt the same way too, but Broaddus brought up that Bills were playing majority zone, so pre snap motion was pointless for the most part. MM abandoned it for that reason, but I still feel like it should be used to get CeeDee and our speedsters moving with speed when the ball is snapped
