yet they made the playoffs and lost to a respectable team, dont know if serious or doesnt buy into the eagle pre season hype. Either way yes they do it every year, but ill give it to them last year, they won when we chose to expose our weaknesses. Cant blame a team for winning when both sides try to lose it but one team by accident has to win.

Boy is this division pathetic right now.

I think at least 3 out 4 will improve. And this may be the best offensive division in the league.

I worry about the eagles a bit, I worry about Coughlin making chicken salad out of chicken stuff, the skins ? lol I'm happy to be living among their fan base, very quiet.

Honestly, in the east, whatever team buys into their system and shows up to play every week, will take it. I hope it's us.

Regarding Chip Kelly and the eagles, I would LOVE to see a very detailed breakdown of the two games we played against them, specifically defensively. Chip Kelly decimated Kiffin defenses in college, but somehow even though every other team gave us fits, the Cowboys seemed to play decently against the Chip Kelly NFL offense.

I want to know what happened in both games to cause this.

EDIT: I have a theory that the Kiffin/Marinelli/Lovie approach to defense is the antidote to the Chip Kelly offense. While that offense is predicated on tempo and causing fits for the defense, the 4-3 that these guys run does not need a ton of adjustment. You can run the same play and worry about execution. Maybe that takes away some of what Kelly is trying to do - the Defense isn't focused on figuring you out, they just need to be able to run with you and tackle.

Honestly there's not too much differently the Cowboys did.

1st game:

Foles was concussed a bit so the Cowboys dared the Eagles to beat them with McCoy.

The biggest thing to stop would probably be Sean Lee's positioning. He instead of lining up over the nose of the center (but of course not on the line), he lined up in the one gap on either side, depending on which way the play was going, to combat the dreaded McCoy cut back. Everyone else just maintained gap integrity and Lee pretty much did the rest.

2nd game:

We really didn't 'stop' them in this game. But what really helped? Defensive holding in the secondary. There was a lot of that going on.

The Iggles are way overhyped. They lost one of the best WR in the league. Actually, Arrogant Chip thinks his school-yard plays are so good that they don't need Jackson.

I hope they go 8-8 or 7-9, so the idiots out there will go from worshiping Chip to screaming for his head.

The Saints followed our game plan and shut them down. I forget who said it here, but Chip's offense exploits over-pursuing D's. You play your man or stick to your assignment, those WR's can't get open, and Noodle-arm Foles looks like the QB that he really is. Pathetic.

So their No. 1 WR is Maclin, who has worse hands than T.O. did. And don't forget their rookie WR, who they proclaim to be the best WR in the draft. I guess that's why he was drafted #1. Watch out Jordan, getting open in the NFL is a little harder.

They were super lucky last year that McCoy didn't miss any games. Without him, they are nothing. Plus, now that their O-Lineman will stop using PED's, I expect their performance to dwindle a bit.
