Titans rank #3 in passing yards allowed (Dallas #2 overall). Titans are #2 in total yards allowed (Dallas is #1).

That being said, I think Cooper will get 7 catches for 89 yards and a TD.

I actually think Cole gets his as a result of the attention Cooper gets. Zeke doesn't get 100yards (Titans #8 in rushing yards allowed; Dallas is #14 in rushing yards gained so far).

Dallas wins 23-17. Cooper will get progressively better as the year wears on and Dak gets more familiar with his skillset.

Thoughts?

I'm not going to try to predict his stats, but I do predict that Dallas' first play will be the play we ran against the Giants to Tavon Austin. Play-action fake to Elliott, double-move on the outside by Cooper, deep throw by Prescott.

Watching the Houston game yesterday and seeing Thomas in their lineup I saw good and bad. At times he was confused with where he needed to lineup and yet other times did well. He had 3 catches for 61 yards. I do expect Cooper to be involved but I also expect some confusion on his part as he is learning, not so much in terms of the play but with when Dak makes changes at the line. I would hope 5 to 6 catches on the night but just as important is seeing if it helps open up things for Zeke, Beasley and Gallup

Fair points. But I read somewhere that the OCs he's played for has Linehan ties. I am expecting him to pick up the offense pretty quick.

Predicting WR stats is hard even with WRs with an established history with their team. Even a great receiver might have 40 yards and 0 TDs one week, and 120 yds with 2 TDs the next. My guess is somewhere between 40 and 60 yards with 0-1 TD. It will be hard to have a bigger day because the Titans will be focused on stopping Dallas' new toy.

I think he will pick up the playbook, I think the hard part is making the adjustment at the line as Dak makes calls at the line. It is not going to be the same as he had before, not saying he will not learn as we move forward but I don't expect him to have it down pat. I fully expect Dallas to have plays designed to get the ball to Cooper and plays he is very comfortable with.

If they focus too much on the new toy, the old toy will be eating a lot tonight. lol

2 catches for 38 yards and no TD

Zeke is going to run wild, though. 150+
I see Zeke going off too. Zeke and Gallup will be the greatest benefactors of having Cooper on the field.

Cooper : 4 catches, 51 yards, 1 TD
Zeke: eats (multiple TDs via run or catch)
Gallup: 3 catches, 88 yards, 1 TD

with the qb in Dallas, forcing the ball to any receiver is a recipe for int's.

how about a novel concept?

Throw it to the open guy be it TE, back, or receiver.
