This thread will be referenced in December when the annual reality check happens. You got fans saying they wish they could say 6-2 but want to be conservative with 5-3. As if that's the worst case realistic scenario with this team. Sunday's win was the first since when? Mid December? This team could go 2-6 during that stretch easily.

Thank you for being the voice of reason. 5-3 would be a hell of a showing for this team over the next 8 games.

4-4 seems most likely.

I think they'll beat the Rams but I also have them winning against the Giants and Commanders and they could easily lose one of those games.

Really depends on Spencer, O-scan and Demarcus L. and few injuries.

Oh, and this O-line while not perfect is gonna be pretty good. i'll throw a rock at it and say 4-4,....5-3 if i'm allowed to use my homer card.

And they could 6-2 or better just as easily.
The only two teams that really scare me are the saints and the Seahawks. Saints are at our place, I believe, and they haven't won a game outside the dome in a while so I think we can win that game, if we run the ball well like we have so far this year.
Arizona will be tough its a toss up but I think we beat them
Giants and Commanders are always tough games but we are just better than both of them
Texans - I think we beat them soundly. Washington ran pretty good against them and should have won that game if not for 2 unforced errors in the red zone.

I know this team can be up and down and drive us all nuts but let's not act like it is the worse team out there just because you need them to be to validate your hatred for the front office.

I'll go with 4-4.

We could get to 5-3 but we suck at home and even in victory we still make the most dumb mistakes.

Basically I don't trust this team.

I think we can beat the NFC east but we cant do just by running,we have to figure out a way to beat the blitz and that is a tall task because we are unable to handle it for 2 years .

Before season I penciled Saints and Seahawks as loses.

Now I think the Saints is 50/50 since Ingram is out. The Texans don't scare me now that Clowney will be out and they did struggle against the Commanders defense. The Cardinals will struggle and we don't know how bad Palmer is hurt. If Cowboys can take care of football, it should be a win.

The Saints have looked like unimpressive to me. Their defense hasn't improved and Brees isn't carrying them right now the way he usually does. And like you said, no Ingram. Not saying we'll beat them, but we have a better shot than most think.

While I was excited to witness a balance attack this past Sunday I am a bit weary to feel the ship has set sail quite yet. I will tempur my enthusiasm a little longer.
