This, for the win!

"Sleepless in Seattle"

Seattle's QB goes down early in game with a concussion only to have his backup live through the naightmare of the Cowboys' defense for the remainder of the game.

Cowboys Down Seahawks, 27-6

Visit by the Cowboys to West Coast opponents had typically been closely contested battles of late. The Cowboys' past six games on the West Coast had been decided by 4, 3, 6, 3, 1 and 3 points, respectively. But the Cowboys decisively put an end to that trend by continuing on a roll with a dominant 27-6 win over the Seahawks today.

The Cowboys, fresh and rested after defeating the defending champion Giants in New York eleven days ago, improved to 2-0 and are in first place in the NFC East. Romo completed 23 of 30 passes for an economical 280 yards and two touchdowns, while the rushing tandem of DeMarco Murray and Felix Jones combined for 150 yards and another touchdown.

The Cowboys' defense, turning in a strong performance in Rob Ryan's second season as defensive coordinator, stymied the Seahawks' offense and limited Seattle to just 280 total yards. Rookie quarterback Russell Wilson was sacked five times - three by Demarcus Ware - and threw two interceptions, one of which was the first career interception for rookie Cowboys cornerback Morris Claiborne.

Romo defeated the Seahawks for the 4th consecutive time as starting quarterback of the Cowboys. Additionally, the Cowboys defense, for the first time in 35 games, did not allow an opposing team to score a single touchdown.

This was just retweeted by Broaddus and I figured I'd stick it in here....

Tony Romo's career passer rating against Seattle is 111.2, the highest by any QB versus the Seahawks.

Dallas Shows a Road Warrior Mentality in Victory Over Beleaguered Hawks.

If two roads games into the season are indicative of future results, Dallas fans may well be witness to a play-off run not seen around these parts in a long, long time.

Romo is showing why he has arrived as a field general, and even the machinations of the brain trust of Dallas have produced a defense with teeth.

My, this is something new and improved.
