Here is a prediction contest, IMO every Dallas draft pick is either BPA at a position of need or someone they think is a huge value (Dez, Sean Lee, etc). I gave up long ago trying to predict a certain player to a certain spot because there are way too many moving pieces.
But this year it does seem like the positions of need are pretty clear. This is my take on the team's priorities:
High Priority: RB, NT, OG, FS
Medium Priority: TE, OT, DE
Low Priority: CB, Outside WR
Also I'm making the assumption that the team will sign a veteran OG like Brandon Moore after the draft and Bernadeau will move to Center to compete with Costa and Kowalski.
So my predictions would be these:
First and second round picks are an OG and DT (no order predicted)
RB is taken in the 3rd or 4th
FS in the 3rd through 5th assuming Vaccaro isn't the first round choice
Developmental OT taken in 4th - 6th
TE taken in the 4th - 6th.
CB (our 5th string CB) is addressed by priority FA's or picking off a late training camp cut.
Another WR signed as late offseason FA signing when salary demands drop. (TE also if one isn't drafted).
I know this is kind of a "water is wet" thread but I'd like to hear everyone's thoughts.
