- Big-time linebackers Winston Moss and Kevin Greene both served as assistants for McC for some time, and Moss was even his DC for awhile.

- As said in the Columbo post earlier, James Campen was McC's o-line coach the entire time he was in GB... and he appears to be available. As-is the guy who was the o-line coach previous to Campen, ex-MIA head coach Joe Philbin

- Former Giants HC Ben McAdoo was a TE coach for McC in GB.

- Edgar Bennett has gotten mentioned as a RB coach candidate, but at least for now as far as we can know, he's under contract for the Raiders.

Singletary is a good leader of men.

He is not a good coordinator or position coach.

I really like the guy but he never worked his chops as an X and O coach

Look, I've been leading that band the last week that the most important aspect of this is not really so much getting the best pound-for-pound coach with the brightest future.. as it is... getting the best pound-for-pound coach who would get Jerry's influence out of places it ought not be, causing dysfunction and internal questions of the staff and players' accountability to the head coach.

For now... just right now... we're hearing things that align with that. Whether it happens that way, we'll see. But the cynicism only is pleasuring you. It's not helpful.

Maybe just me, but I'd say, let's acknowledge when we see reason to be encouraged, and not be so predisposed to assuming the worst.
