Think thats about it.

The Defensive for this year were in trouble again..... Ratliff can't keep getting double team with Olshankyby his side..... DB have to play better and keep Brookingoff thie field.

ROB different look and scheme be the difference this year until teams figure it out.....

i like your list a lot better.

i dont like sensabaugh at all. i overrated him big time. whiffed on way too many tackles for a SS. weird personality too.

jenkins and spencer will be better with some real coaching and motivation.

somebody from within the organization has to step up on the dline. we should add some depth in free agency.

newman and james are too old, they are benefiting from the fact we have so many other holes in the defense and we cant change everything. i think these two have gotten a big pass by the media/fans b/c they are both pretty media savvy. both play soft and are not playmakers.

going in with brooking/james as your ILB will be a DISASTER.

I would agree. Most of the pieces are in place, the new scheme will make a huge difference.

I think Newman is out and Nmamdi will be in. I think with Bowen starting the run defense will suffer, and it wasnt red hot to start with.

I'm hoping for!...:)
Aso
Jenkins
Huff
Sensabaugh

Bowen
Ratliff
Spears

Ware
Lee
James
Spencer

I liked what Lissemore showed in a short time coming from a small school. It's too bad that guys like him haven't been given a full offseason under NFL weight training to make strides in their second seasons.

Lissemore, AOA, Lee and Bryant (not necessarily in that order) could really give the team a boost this year.

.................................................Huff

...............................................................Sensabaugh
..........................................Bradie......Lee

Jenkins.................Ware...Ratliff...Brent...Bowen...Spencer.............Newman

Rotate in Lissemore/Carter/Butler as relief and passrush. Scandrick as nickel CB.

lol uh.

Huff?

Dont get me wrong im 100% in the front of that bandwagon screaming.. Ive been fairly pissed at the overreaction to the draft picks so havent been on this weekend Or even last week really, has something changed?

Last i was informed Huff was as much as a certainty as Ashomugha.. which is yeah ..not a certainty..ANY articles or info that can be passed along is greatly appreciated. Was high on Huff since he came out of UT!.

No clue where you have been but a ton of people have Newman in their doghouse. In fact every single mock mentions drafting a cb bc Newman may be cut.

-Sensabaugh (70%) & Akwasi Owusu-Ansah (30%) (think we'll see a combination of the two)
-Huff
-a rotation of jenkins, newman, scandrick (with newman and jenkins getting the majority of the reps despite scandrick playing great football)

-ware
-james (hopefully not on the nickel though)
-sean lee (although I think we should let Brooking in on a few early downs)
-spencer (70%) % Butler (30%)

-lissemore
-ratliff
-bowen
(the d-line for some reason seems harder to predict)

I think Elam's probably the backup plan if we can't sign Sensabaugh, too. Not a bad option for us. I'd like to see us look at an upgrade to Olshansky, too. I doubt Lissemore is the man to do it, though. Anybody with any connections to Ryan available in OAK, CLE, or elsewhere?

I personally like Sensabaugh, I don't think we would go after two brand new safeties, plus Jerry seems to really like Sensy and has been wanting to lock him up for a while now. I am hoping we keep Bowen and Spears, Igor needs to be upgraded imo, he is a fine backup but he was a Wade guy and needs an upgrade there for sure. I am confident we bring in Huff, if not we gotta get someone else like Weddle maybe since we did not draft safety and we are screwed if we go in with a safety we already have unless a young dude steps up but I am not willing to gamble on a young guy again (Ball). Lee and James are my starters with Brooking relieving, coming in on whatever downs...ect

Jenkins and Newman will most likely be our corners, Scandrick being the third guy. I have no confidence we will get Nnamdi even if it is uncapped. A big reason is because we did nothing last year in free agency, the only addition if I remember correctly was Alex Barron...

Gotta upgrade at safety and D-Line and I really like the D assuming Spencer and Jenkins bounce back of course ;)

Offensively there is a tremendous amount of talent.

Defensively.....ummm not so much outside of Wade, Ratliff, Spears, and Spencer, after those guys , we have a second tier defensive unit..

Competition is a great coaching tool, but where on defense is there going to be any competition??

At the CB position??? NOT, at the FS and SS positions??? -----NOT

At the DL positions????------NOT

Out of seven picks we drafted , on defense ,we drafted two..... a coming off injury LB, and a later round CB who reminds me of the pick a year ago Jamar Wall, gone and forgotten right after camp ended...

Jerry had better have a plan in FA , when and IF that ever occurs, or this defense is toast..( literally) no pun intended.

Just good sound evaluation skills on my part..
