Predict the team Dallas plays in the 1st game!

LA Chargers. Moore / Herbert vs. MM / Dak revenge game...but for who is the revenge for.

I don't think will be that big of a game, as they want those SF and Philly games later on to build up the drama for ratings.
I posted SF on SNF earlier, but do they want that game that early in the season. However they did with Dallas / TB last season.

How about Dallas at Washington, if they get a new owner, to try to promote the rivalry to get it going again.

They have about a month before they release the schedule.

I cant remember the last time 1st game was with the eagles.

I guess it could be miami, buffalo, or seahawks, as they were all in the playoffs too.

They will want it to be a good team that was in playoffs, most of the above lost in WC round, last year we got tampa because they lost the champ game
so it could be SF.

So I am going to say it is the Eagles.

Yeah,
I'm thinking a return to opening against the Giants as they had done for a few years in a row before changing it up recently.

Well that got started because the giants and cowboys were the 2 better teams in the east, and they had alot of close exciting games.
last few years cowboys have dominated the giants and won all the games, so I doubt it will be the giants.
The new trend is to make that week 1 game be with a strong team from previous year so that opening game has very good ratings.

The only east team good enough is the eagles.
SF beat the cowboys 2 in a row in playoffs, so that is a possibility, but I think if I were picking it would and should be Phil.

And I forgot in op, but I think it will be a Sun night game. They wont waste cowboys on a thur nite game.

the thing about saving games, is those teams may wind up having a bad season, you never know so better to do it early.

the giants were good last season, but they could not beat the cowboys, so to me that is not a exciting game for week 1.
Maybe next year if they can beat the cowboys 1 out of 2 games.
It has been years since giants beat the cowboys.

Before I opened the thread, my gut said...Giants. Nothing exciting about it, but it seems like they like to start us that way in general over the years. I could see it being SF or SD too with the story lines, but do the Cowboys need a storyline other than themselves?
