ok we arent football experts so lets see if even novices can recognize what our offense is going to do in a certain formation.

1. what is the play call when tashard choice is lined up the wildcat, what will the read be 100% of the time.

2. what is the call when olgetree who hasnt played a snap majority of the game comes in all the sudden and flanked out wide right?

can you the football watching novice answer these two questions? surely if we can the opposing defense knows as well...

Because we all know Jason Garrett is the only Coordinator who runs the same play out of the same formation in this league  .

Every other coordinator runs a play 1 time and then never uses it again.

There isn't another team in the league that is as obvious as him.

Actually Ogletree was out there a couple of times when they didn't run the screen, but it's like he tries to surprise defense with crap he's done multiple times.

Do you watch any other team with as close of an eye as you do with the Cowboys?

And the Choice play is working whether or not if they know its coming.

I watch Buffalo every week, any time an NFCE team is on I watch, and I watch Peyton every time I can. None of those teams do what Garrett does.

Sure they all run 24s, go routes, whatever...but that is simple stuff not meant to be tricky. Garrett tries to be deceptive with stuff that defenses know is coming.

i thought the wildcat was suppose to be an option play, hand off, pass it or run it yourself, i believe we are a 6 for 6 or so run it youself so far.

see my drift?

if your gonna keep defenses honest, throw the ball once or twice to olgetree on a route other than the WR screen, just to keep them honest...

see my drift?

your point sucks.

Here's a quick tip for you...

Offensive coordinators run plays that they KNOW are highly predictable and that may fail.

Why?

To set up counter plays later in the game. See: Double move vs Philly.

I'm wondering if Garrett plays it close to the vest like this with non division opponents then does the bubble screen with Ogletree and the like within the division and hope we can win the other games with a vanilla offense.

#1 the predictable run to the left with Bigg pulling everytime we run the wildcat

#2 the bubble screen to o-tree.

last year GB figured Garrett out and did it again this year.

We are trying to implement a base out of the wildcat obviously.

When we've ran it in the past we couldn't even get the snap down.

And your acting like the play hasn't been effective at all. It got stopped 1 time.
