Predicting The Inactives

My five week one inactives are Camden Brown, Drew Shelton, LT Overton, Ameer Speed, and Alijah Clark.

Because this team cannot quit on Caelon Carson and Markquese Bell. And if Jonathan Bullard (hamstring) can't play, swap him with Overton.

Is Bullard out? Leverett was promoted to the 53 with Smith going on IR. I don't see Dunn being promoted unless we like him more than Overton, if Bullard is out.

My guess, with no promotions is:
Shelton
Brown
Wheat
Overton (if Bullard is healthy)
Speed

I'd carry Cornelius as the eighth lineman, which means we can have 48 total on the game-day roster (five inactives). The last two spots depend on whether we prefer Wheat over Clark for ST and Carson over Speed.
I don't know. I don't think he has been practicing 100% or at least not for long so that was my thinking that we wait a week on him. We have 5 DL on the 53. I don't think we go into the game with just 4. I think whomever they are, it will be 5 guys active at the DE/NT spots

You might be right, but I don't think we'll be in the 3-4 enough to justify carrying a fifth DT who doesn't do anything on special teams. We'll be in nickel for around 70 percent of the defensive snaps with two DTs, so the fifth seems like unnecessary insurance. We could still play 3-4 fronts and rotate the tackles in the four-man fronts even if we lost one to injury without having to take a fifth DT.
