I think Ware will have a very good season barring injury I don't know about DPY and at this stage and not really concernd about individual awards as much as I'm concerned about the overall play of the defense. I think the defensive unit will be key this year if Dallas is to advance in post season.

I hope to see a team that plays consistently good football the whole season:

That means our defense brings consistent pressure on the QB which should increase our sack total from a miserable 37 or 39 to at least 43-49 with Ware upping his total to about 15 with Ellis & Carpenter adding an additional 15. Hopefully the remaining 13+ sacks comes from combination of remaining LBs & our DL. This increased pressure hopefully enables our secondary to increase their number of interceptions & also lessen completion rates of our opponents.

On offense Davis should be a big improvement over Riveria (read he came in a week early to begin our offseason weight conditioning program) if he is in great physical shape and properly motivated. If our OL can give Romo better protection and open holes for our running game--particularly more consistent and better running by Julius Jones--our offense should perform better then last year particularly against the better teams.

Once again Ware's production will depend on whether or not Dallas finds a true OLB/DE that can creat havoc on the other side. People forget Phillips is a beast for San Diego as well, not just Merriman.

He'll be allowed more range, more freedom than during the defensive-restricting days of Parcells.
