A few months ago I'd probably agree, but I cant see Jerry handing things over to Zimmer at this point.

I agree, but feel like he will need to add some kind of excitement with a hire. Kellen would be the younger version of what they thought Garret was going to be, Deion would be the all excitement hot news media plug option (Belichick fits in this category as well), and Zimmer would be the fallback cheap option that most likely is going to be the pick.

Nah. I could see why he did that a year ago, but this time around you have to sign an entire new staff to all 1 year deals as well. That would turn out to be the most pathetic coaching staff in history.

Exactly... he might be the only one who could probably finesse JJ into letting him have personnel power to some degree. Not saying he'd be good at it but at least you know he'd get in players faces and has some experience at college level in finding some talent to some degree.

It could be I mean that's a obvious kinda easy transition but do you really want a head coach who seems to be in burnout mode like he's not sure whether he wants to work retire he just got married I mean I can see that happening though but I'm not sure I want schottenheimer as my OC you need a whole entire new offensive staff in my opinion they don't remain they're not under contract there's not a single coach under contract right now and they're probably gonna go with McCarthy why wouldn't they follow him not Zimmer or Harris but the offensive staff was handpicked by mccarthy wherever he goes they're probably gonna go.
Most likely some sour grapes but I can see Zimmer coming in as a head coach DC al Harris but they have to hire a whole new offensive staff which would be what I would want new scheme new staff do everything on that side of the football...
