I'm sick of seeing all the insanity regarding Romo's play last Sunday night. I predict that Romo with have a near-perfect QB rating for his performance on Monday night. Book it, bet on it, and bank it.

As long as Romo does not get gun shy out there he should be fine. I want him to protect the ball better but I do not want to see him become overly hesitant doing it. I think there is a fine line of being protective of the ball and being overly fearful of making a mistake that you do not make the plays when they are there for the taking. I have yet to see that out of Romo I hope that continues

Cowboys -31

Panthers-20

Our Oline is to big and to strong for them and our unning game kills them...Plus I think romo bounces back and has a very efficient game. Not to jinx or anything but I think we might go 4-1 before the bye.

Interesting comments by Colin today about Romo and Monday nights game. His theory is that because Romo's career passer rating is like 94% that you have to be pretty consistent. You don't have too many 'bad" games. So, the fact that he had such a poor game Sunday....if history is our guide, he should come back with a very strong game this Monday. I'll go with that!

Romo will be fine on Monday but the big plays are likely going to come from Barber, Felix, and Choice cause the Panthers are terrible against the run. We should exploit that without question.

Let me ask though if the Panthers come up with 8 or 9 in the box do you take some shots down field? I would think John Fox knows they have some issues vs run and will try to sure up there run defense by putting more guys up to at least slow down the run. Last week at times Matt Ryan was able to kill Carolina down the middle with passes to Gonzalez and had 3 TD passes on the day.

Felix is going to run wild.....

John Stewart is going to badly run over one of our DB's, thus starting our secondary praying he doesnt get into the second level.

Julius Peppers is going to be bringing the pain.

Delhomee is going to look ugly as wade brings the heat all game.

Steve Smith is going to abuse us if we are in zone. Then he gets ejected because Scandrick calls him short and he slaps his helmet.

Romo will Telegraph a pass to Witten and get picked by Thomas Davis

Gruden will talk about Dware being unstoppable.

Jaws will break downs Tony's lack of reading secondary coverage.

Mike T. will be annoying.

Boys win 31-28

There's no might about it. This team should go 4-1 before the bye.

You know when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor December 7th, 1941, the Imperor Herojhito (forgive spelling), felt like that would take the wind from our sails and cause us to crumble and easily be over run, Only one of his highest leaders, and commander of the invasion Admiral Yammamoto disagreed, saying to his chief of staff "I fear we have made a grave error in this action, and all we have managed to do is awaken a sleeping giant that will devour us all".......

Well with everyone and their brother attacking this team and its QB from all sides, it is my sincere hope that once again perhaps a sleeping giant has been awaken that will devour them all, instead of a gentle pixie that just flutters around doing nothing, only time will tell if the Cowboys have been truely awakened and will perform to expectations.............

it may be hope but I have to agree. I have a feeling we're gonna score a lot. we scored 34 in week 1 against the bucs and 31 against the Giants defense with no passing game and 4 turnovers. I don't see Carolina as the team to slow down this offense. defensively who knows. our defense is more up and down than a seesaw. But in the end I don't think Carolina will be able to keep up with our offense.

Carolina is going to gameplan around the running game. They are going to put 8 in the box which is fine, but the playaction has to be crisp to make them pay.

I'm thinking HUGE days for RW and Romo. I just have a sense that Romo finally gets it. I don't know why. Something about his post game press conference showed me he was deeply hurt about his performance. I know I bashed him but this is around the same time that Eli evolved.

Let's go Cowboys! Let's make a 07 Giants run!!

I say 30-13 cowboys. We've had the panthers number for a number of years now. I don't see anything different happening monday night.
