What did we think would happen when we lost our best 2 offensive players? I think most were a little bit optimistic going into the game even though we knew it would be tough. It really sucks when our reality slaps you in the face. We struggled last week without Dez now to add Romo. Should have known it would be bad. Weeden gonna Weeden. Yet another failed ex-baseball player starting at QB for our Cowboys. It's going to be a rocky month and a half. Defensive help is on the way after next week and hopefully it allows us to force a few more turnovers because the defense has to score and give Weeden a short field.

I agree with you. Anybody think Philly had a chance today at the Jets? Nope.

I did. I felt Philly would win. My reasoning? That's the way the NFL goes from week to week. They looked terrible last week. I told a Jets fan at work that they'd better not lose to Philly because I have a feeling they will.

I said the other day that the Jets remind me of the Texans from last year. Really good D, and Fitzpatrick. Almost identical! Weird.

Weeden has lost 9 straight starts, not all his fault, but he's not a winner or really much of a backup. We'll see Cassel at some point. Of bigger concern is a decimated d-line that provided no pass rush and was gutted in the run game. If that's not at least a marked improvement with returning injured/suspended guys, we will not out score teams no matter who is under center.
