It's really too bad about Romo and Dez, this was the game I had circled when the schedule came out. Would have been a great game.

Now, probably not so much...

Patriots 41 Cowboy 17
Patriots jump on us early and we get a late TD to make it look better than it was.

30 - 17 N.E. They score on a turnover, we rally to get it close, but they pull away in the 4th quarter.

Hate writing this, but reality of our strength leads me this way. Will watch the game under no pressure for the first time in a long time. Will focus on the combo of Hardy, Lee, Ro to see how it strengthens our D , but also realize that Hardy & Ro can't be in game shape at this point

24 hours ago I would have said 35-24 Pats. Last night I witnessed an omen that I cannot ignore.

Got together with the family for a birthday celebration. My nephew and his girlfriend brought dessert. They are both big time Pats fans. Dinner was finished and dessert came out in the form of cupcakes. I took a bite and commented on how good they were and how they were different from most cupcakes. They told me that was because they made them with brownie mix.

Wait, What!? You made crownies on the eve of the Pats, Cowboys game!? They both had no clue was I was talking about so I showed them the commercial.

So, because my loudmouth, trash talking relatives 100% coincidentally made Romo's crownies on the eve of the big game I'm going with 31-21 Cowboys.

I'm just curious , im actually getting some good vibes . I think we'll play well . I'm going to go New England 31 Cowboys 26

Total Dallas domination. The Patriots offensive linemen are going to look like tsunami victims after this one. The Cowboys are a good team and they have prideful players who are going to be inspired by the return of two emotional leaders in Ro and Hardy.

Cowboys - 35
Patriots -10.

I predict I'll be curled up in a fetal position by late in the 2nd quarter.

Sorry, I just haven't been able to summon much optimism for this one. Looking more for individual performances (the OL getting their act together, Hardy and McClain shaking off some rust, etc.). But we're bringing a knife to a gunfight today. A plastic knife, and not one of the sturdy ones, but one of those grocery-store brand ones that come 100-to-a-pack and snap in half the second you try to cut through something tougher than warm butter. A knife called Weeden.

I am predicting that the Patriots jump way out in the first half a 20 pt lead and the players are booed off the field at halftime. Then the Cowboys storm back behind Matt Flyyn err Brandon Wheeden and win the game 35 to 34. Cowboy fans are jubilant.

I think the Cowboys will make it a game and cover the spread, but come up short in the end. 31-24 Pats.

If someone offered any of you $500 on the outcome of this game, none of you would pick the Cowboys. Money brings the truth out.

I wouldn't do that for either team. Just think it's silly to put that much money on a football game.
