Then this is his last season as a Cowboy. Im ready to move on from him, and I think if it reaches that point then Dak will be ready to move on too.

Put yourself in Daks shoes, the last time he played on a final year if his contract he suffered a pretty gruesome injury. That's for damn sure gonna be in the back of his mind, and he'll have some type of resentment for the organization.

1) it really doesn't matter what you want (or what I want or what anyone other than Jerry, Dak and his agent want).

2) nobody can profess to know what is in the back of anyone's mind. That's just pure projection and speculation.

Honestly, I couldn't care less if he signs or not. This year he will be ourQB and I will root for him to succeed. Next year he may be our QB or maybe he won't either way, I will root for him if he is a Cowboy or wish him the best if he isn't. I realize this is a business first and foremost and I respect that. I don't think I have the right to have a say about anybodies money, what they feel they're valued at in the marketplace or what somebody who is willing to pay thinks they're valued at. Everyone else who does is just expressing their own personal bias.

If I was in Dak’s shoes, I would have already quietly asked for a trade to one of a few teams. And if not granted, I would play out this year with the idea this is my last rodeo in Dallas.

I’m not sure that’s what will happen but getting a new address would be my goal if I was Dak, especially if winning a ring is a serious goal. Sometimes the boats and bridges are too burned to continue.

The best path forward is sign Lamb for this year.

Let Prescott prove himself. Dallas wins in January he has the choice of signing with Dallas or elsewhere. If Dallas loses in January, Dallas moves on.

Parsons should be addressed AFTER the Prescott situation is resolved.

It's not that difficult.

.....thing is an offer was already made. I'm sure it was a lucrative amount.

But it seems greed is paving the way from him and agent. These bozo's should trade the guy now.

Go after Wilson, Flacco or Cousins.

Dak is undoubtedly going to have his best year here.

Probably average 40-45 attempts per game.....Dan Fouts, eat your heart out.

I want them to come out and say, by mutual agreement, Dak will play out this season. So there will be no distractions With the contract talk.
They don’t even need to say mutual agreement. But use some term like that.

Time to focus on football.

We better have CeeDee signed by the first game of the season.

As long as his extension remains in limbo, it will be a distraction. Speculation about his future will go on all season.

I'm going to guess that he likes the organization

Why have to say it out loud?

Daks under contract and Dak is here for TC and this season

The looming dark cloud is the 2025 season

Not sure what that has to do with anything.
Considering he still got paid not so much. That said, he's older now and I can see other teams shying away from an injury recovery. So maybe it does have an effect, although Dak has NEVER been afraid to gamble on himself.
