Alright so the Cowboys are half way through the season now and are 4-4. This may seem bad in a way but the other NFC East teams are doing worst. The only team in that division that could be a problem for the boys would be the Eagles. The Giants and Commanders have two wins each and I don’t think there make it to the payoffs. The skins would have a chance though but I don’t see them winning against Chargers, 49ers, Chiefs, Falcons, and Cowboys
I looked at the next teams Dallas will have to face and I think we have a chance of this. This following is the predictions of which I think team will win in my opinion. This will be long so I’m sorry for this in advance but to put it simply I think Dallas will have a record of 9-7 and it does as follows:

Note: I started this before the Vikings game so please keep this in mind.

VS Vikings (1-4)

Winner: Cowboys (5-4)

Note: I noticed that other than the game against Denver, we have yet to lose at home. Seeing what going on with the Vikings with the fact that there QB are not playing well. We have a good chance to win this game and move up to 5-4. I heard that the Vikings are not saying who going the starting QB so that could be a cause for concern for us due to the fact that Dallas won’t be prepared for the QB that going to start. AP is and will be another problem to deal with seeing as how he could get away from others players. It going to come down to whether Murry will be able to get the running game back up and can the defense can stop the running game.

At Saints (6-1)

Winner: Saints (5-5)

Note: Let face it, Drew Bress + Mercedes-Benz Superdome= nearly unbeatable. Dallas goes up against Saints on Sunday Night Football. Now although Cowboys are 2-0 on SNF for now this season we have to think and ask ourselves can Tony Romo play like he did against Denver without that last minute pick away from the AT&T stadium. Dallas is 0-4 when it comes to away games this season and Rob Ryan out for blood on Jerry Jones. So seeing the defense of the Saints now, it hard to think weather the O-line from Dallas can protect Romo. Now to be fair the last time these two faces of it had to go into OT with Saints winning and Dallas unable to get the TD and forced to punt.

BYE

At New York Giants (2-6)

Winner: Cowboys (6-5)

Note: Giants fans need to face the facts, the odd of Giants going to the playoff are looking slim and I think the odd of them beating Dallas are the same as well. It the O-line that been costing the games and so the running game so Dallas is going to exploit that by IMO keeping the Pressure on the WR and Eil. Now last time these two meet it was Dallas that won and dominated them until the last few minutes of the game making it 36-31. We’re going to their home and worry me a bit but still I feel we can win this but who knows who could win this game.

VS Oakland Raiders (3-4)

Winners: Cowboys (7-5)

Note: This will a though game in Dallas seeing how the Raiders are doing right now it seem that Dallas will be able to win this but to be honest I don’t really watch any of the Raiders game this season so I tell how good they are and the only thing I know is they have a good record. I don’t really have much to say but I have a guess that we will win this but Raiders could also win this game from out of nowhere. When I watch this game going on live on Sunday, until Dallas has a good lead I’m going to be worried until the game ends.

At Chicago Bears

Winner: Bears: (7-6)

Note: The Bears’s Jay Cutler is injured as of this typing but it looks like he will be in good health in time for Monday Night Football. Were pretty sure that Romo won’t make the same mistake like last time he played against them (or so I hope) I want to see Romo doing no picks in this game if not then only one pick. I want to see Sean Lee going for at least two picks on Cutler. It may be too much but if Dallas has a chance of winning this they need to play to near perfect.

VS Packers (5-2)

Winners: Cowboys (8-6)

Note: Alright I’m calling it… this game going to be a shootout between Romo and Rodgers that will be talked about. I heard that they might be airing on Sunday Night Football so we all should be able to see it. I think I speak for everyone when I say that Romo learned from his mistake of what happen with Denver in the last quarter. Cowboy playing Packers in their home and I notice the home filed advance has been in effect for Cowboys this season as of late unlike how it doesn’t do much for them in the last season. The winner of the game will be whoever makes the least mistakes.

At Commanders (2-5)

Winner: Commanders (8-7)

I was going to type Cowboys in the winner section but I had to be honest with myself. Last time they played here they lost the game and playoff spot. They are not going to play on SNF so I don’t think Romo going to have that much pressure like last time but in case you haven’t notice RG3 was doing good running that ball in Dallas this season. I think he going to be playing like he did last year and that what going give them the win. It kinda sad because my heart telling me that Dallas will it but the mind telling me RG3 and the Skins will.

VS Eagles

Winner: Cowboys(9-7)

Note: It looks like Nick Foles will be starting QB for Eagles since he played against TB and made seven TD with no picks. This will be are first game at home in four years and I think we can do this and head to the playoffs. It will be a hard game to win due to this being the last game of the season and were 0-2 in the last two seasons but I think Dallas won’t let us down here.

So what do you think?

To the OP. Nice write up with solid explanations for each game. With the injuries on the DL....which means we cannot consistently pressure the QB......I feel 8-8 is the best we can do. But after looking at each remaining game. You may be on to something. Not sure which ones we will win or lose.....but there are enough beatable teams on our schedule to get to 9-7.

I think we'll finish anywhere between 7-9 and 9-7. So... likely 8-8. Which might be enough to win this sorry division. If we only win 3 more games, I hope they're all division games.
