Prediction thread: Dez Bryant TDs?

I have a strong feeling about a season ending injury
Why even say something like that?

My guess is a total of 9 by the possible R.O.Y.

With(or if) Roy playing well I think they just go to a 3wr set no fullback as their base offense.

» I could care less if Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant carries Roy Williams' pads after practice, but what I do care about is watching Bryant play. And from the few plays I have seen from camp, he has been sensational and should be an impact player this year for the 'Boys. They might have to be in more spread sets to utilize all their talent, thus making running back Felix Jones even more explosive.

Dallas has been practicing them. I've read where Dez saw some slot work. Bryant is picking up the offense fast. The coaches will probably "tap the breaks" some, but they can't hide that 88.

My prediction is between 8-12...

That would be incredible for his first year, considering all of the offensive threats we have.

I've been saying this since he was drafted.

8.

If we didn't have so many weapons, 10+.

Austin did better in the 2nd Commanders game ( 9-92-0) and (4-47-0) in the 1st Commanders game. That is one good game for Austin against Washington.

According to Pro Football Focus, Austin didn't do much against Hall last year. PFF counted the play against Newman where Moss caught a smoke route and Newman came up to contain him and wait for help. However, Moss turned the play all the way around LT and ran for a big play. The Commanders may have done that play on purpose. That shouldn't count, because that isn't a measure of Newman's true cover skills.

However, they have targets to the WRs.

1st Commanders Game:

Austin

7 TA
4 REC
47 Yards

Witten

7 TA
5 REC
43 Yards

Williams

4 TA
0 REC
0 Yards

2nd Commanders Game:

Austin

10 TA
9 REC
92 Yards

I looked this game up, and some how forgot about Austin's good game. Glad I went back.

Williams

4 TA
1 REC
4 Yards
1 TD

Witten

7 TA
6 REC
117 Yards

If the Cowboys want to burn Hall, Bryant is going to be the best option, imo. I'm not saying Austin can't do it; I think he can. However, I don't think he did it last year.

Dez Bryant and Felix Jones should be critical keys to scoring more points against the Commanders in 2010.

maybe if our team gets up for the skins games like they do for us we'll beat the crap out of them like we should and like NY and Philly do.

Sorry. I couldn't delete my post that stated that Austin didn't do "anything" against the Commanders last year.

Again, Miles Austin had a good game in game 2. 9-92-0

Where's Romo2Austin?:)

Again, Dallas didn't roast Hall last year, and that needs to change.

Jason Garrett needs to dial up # 88 :)

The last 3 Commanders games have looked like this:

14-10 Dallas
7-6 Dallas
17-0 Dallas

I think Dallas needs more explosive plays, and Jones and Bryant can deliver them, imso.

look how close they are. we are a much better team than them and should be whooping on them like NYG and Philly has done for the past I don't know how many years.

I am going to say 4, but him on the field with Ausitn in the slot gets Witten open for 9 TDs this year.

I am just ocncerned that not playing for two years he is not in football condition and he gets hurt.

It looks like they are causing us some problems on offense to me.

Run two more explosive players at them and see if the scoring goes up.

imo the skins dc is outcoaching Garrett we just have much better players. like you said get Felix and Dez the rock!

Dont you guys know he cant have TDs, now his mom on the other hand.....

Or Wade Phillips!

You mean total TD's or Receiving TD's

Receiving, 6
KO / PR, 3

Total, 9

it depends on how we use him in the end zone and as we saw last season a good player like Witten can be unused because of how defenses play us.i still think he will have 5-6 TDs.

I meant total, because I think he'll have 4 receiving and 1 return TD for 5 total. I think he'll get a decent number of yards but I don't think he'll be a huge red zone option, I think Roy will get another 7 (at least) TDs and Witten and Barber will have more TDs also.
