Which of the following do you think we will do.

A. Trade for a QB
B. Sign a FA QB
C. Wait for final cuts and then sign a QB
D. Do nothing and stick with Dak and Showers

Let's get everyone on record here.

I'm gonna say we sign a FA (B)

PS post what you think the team will do....not what you want them to do.

B or C both Jerry and Stephen have stated they are fine where they are and they are not interested in giving up a pick.

No way to predict what they're going to do as things change, look at the Foles situation.

What I'd LIKE them to do is continue giving Dakota & Jameill reps and see what they can do, at least for the rest of camp. Accelerating their learning process could actually be a good thing, and in Dak's case, I think he has the mental makeup to handle the responsibility (Jameill might too, but I just don't enough about him).

The big issue is of course having the playbook down as well as the nuances of this system opposed to what was being run at Miss. St. and UTEP.

They will stand pat until the cuts start coming. There will be QB's available before the start of the season for sure.
For now, let's see what we have in Prescott & Showers. They may surprise us in the pre-season games.

what I'm hoping = McCown or roll with the young guys

what they'll actually do = I have no idea, and it scares the crap out of me

D

Unless the preseason games are a complete nightmare.

I would say D, do nothing and go with Showers or Prescott. But it is only because of the lack of options and the hole they placed themselves into with not being aggressive enough to move up later in the first round and try to get their potential franchise QB after getting Zeke. Can't blame them for not getting Lynch at #4 but should have moved into the top 20 to steal him. They knew Moore was backup material only.

Anyone left in FA or the trash heap will be worse than going with the above two. If Romo goes down again, so do the Boys, regardless of who they bring in. I don't have any confidence in the offensive coaches to prepare the backup QB for success.

D. They didn't address is it before why do it now.

Agree. Plus there might be more options a little later down the road.
