Let's go ahead and call this the game of the season! The Cowboys get to find out what they're made of this week. Unfortunately for the Cowboys, there is a really big coaching mismatch! One guy is going to go down as one of if not the greatest football coach of all time and the other guy is fighting for his job week to week. We also have a very unusual number one vs number one, Cowboys offense vs the Patriots defense. This isn't the match up that I'm worried about, however, I'm much more concerned about the Cowboys defense getting manhandled once again and on top of that the Patriots have won 20 straight at home. So how do the Cowboys pull this miracle off, well it comes down to two players for the Cowboys one is pretty obvious Dak Prescott and the other guy Tony Pollard. One thing I can say is the Cowboys have had a lot of success against teams with really good records in the past and I'm looking forward to seeing if Tom Brady is still the man or will there be a passing of the torch to Dak Prescott. This one is a tough call but the Patriots are at home and I don't like the Cowboys defense.

Patriots 31
Cowboys 24

Ugh...The weather and Pats defense.
Patriots 23
Cowboys 13

Dallas 24
New England 17

This is the exact type of game that Jason Garrett wins to keep sticking around as coach. The Ginger Cockroach of Coaching.

My predictions have been absolutely terrible and it's why I haven't even tried to make many this year.

So take this for what it's worth and bet the opposite:

Patriots - 30
Cowboys - 13

I think Belichick finds a way to fluster the Cowboys offense, specifically in the red zone where they will really struggle. I think they can put up yards between the 20's but will disappoint in scoring.

Meanwhile, I think the Cowboys defense really shows for what it truly is and not the top 10 number they somehow have.

But like I said, my predictions have been terrible and I hope just the opposite happens. I'll sit back, watch, and hope to be pleasantly surprised.

Patriots 28
Cowboys 17

They are Super Bowl Champions with the best record in the league playing at home in bad weather conditions. I really don’t think it will be much of a game.

Lots of mismatches here... #1 Offense (supposedly) vs. #1 Defense
Pats offense (not sure of their ranking, but they haven't looked that great to me IMO. 2 of their WR's may be out as well, which means nothing since Dallas won't take advantage of it, but it's worth pointing out) vs our terrible defense.

This game shouldn't be high scoring nor low scoring based of the mis matches.
I'm going to go 34-28 Pats Win. Pats average 31 points at home, we average 28 points a game, our defense sucks and let Jeff Driskel hang up 27 points on us, so there is no doubt Brady and Belichick can score more than a measly 27 points. Dak and Co will have to turn it up beyond comprehension to truly win this game.

I do not often make predictions because I am always wrong , but I do think if the weather is as bad as predicted, its a big disadvantage for Dallas. Has anyone seen stats on the Cowboys with Dak on sloppy fields?

Cowboys 12 Patriots 6, that was the score the last time I saw these teams live and Dallas won (In Dallas).

The last 4 times I was present (Foxborough and Gillette) we lost, so I decided not to attend :)

Let history repeat itself, no TDs scored and Brett Maher is the hero!
