They've shown Dez interview with Irvin.
Mooch giving love to Romo.

And now they're showing a Players only roundtable discussing what a loss would mean for Romo and Cowboys.

What would a loss mean for them? Speaking for myself, it would be pretty rough to take....

Well the caveat is whether it was on Romo or if it's because the defense fell apart. So that's where the discussion focused.

Current segment is now How the Lions can beat the Cowboys. Basically making the cowboys become one-dimensional.

Thanks. Wish I could have seen this. I suppose that the latter portion emphasized that taking away the Cowboys run game is a possible path to victory...

Irvin mentioned that the Cowboys shouldn't sleep on Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate, because they're basically two #1s. Lions can legitimately beat the Cowboys. But everybody else basically said, they're playing against Stafford and laughed off any real chances the Lions had.

If Romo plays well with no big mistakes and they lose because the defense just can't stop the Lions, then Romo will have taken a big step forward with an incredible December and a solid playoff performance. It will then be up to the team to improve the defense they way they did the oline. Then all the pieces will be in place.

Saw that. Not sure if they're serious, or if this is the hopeful set-up for the aftermath of a Cowboys loss. Detroit obviously has a good chance of winning this game. To laugh that off seems pretty disingenuous to me. That doesn't surprise me in regards to Faulk. It does disappoint me in regards to Warner though.

Watching the games yesterday illustrated that defense wins the day in the playoffs. Detroit's is dominant and ours is middle of the road, at best. I'm not writing off the Lions in any way, shape, or form. Dallas' O better bring their A+ game today or it's going to be a long off-season.

It's no different than what we've seen on CZ. I think the Cowboys should win, but I don't think the Lions will just lay down and let the Cowboys roll on them.

This has been the game plan from teams all year. Other than the games Romo was not healthy in, nor played in. It hasn't happened yet.
So hopefully they keep it up, and do not allow this to happen.

Tale of the Tape
Marshall thinks Murray gives Dallas the edge.

Mike likes Cole Beasley and gives Cowboys the edge.

Mooch gives Dallas the edge at coaching

Sapp gives Detroit the Lions in defense

Warner gives Romo the edge at QB

WG, this is the most alive you have been since you had your first glimpse of Charles Woodson.

Agree. He along with the O Line is a major reason we are even able to watch a game today.

I for one am tired of the " pile on media" putting everything on his shoulders... How about " Eli the Unstoppable " or " Mr. Ice".... no talk about what they did or didn't do to be on the field today.

I dunno man, he can get HOT when given the time. That's the key today....no darn WAY he should have the time to burn us with his starting guard and tackle out...NO way. If that happens, we deserve to lose.

How many pts. do you guys think we have to score today to win? I'm thinking 27 or so. Maybe as low as 24. All the local Dallas Writers picked a close game and I think so too.

First to 35...and of course, that'll be Dallas.

Detroit can have them! :)

Both teams made it this far and they both have strengths and weakness. ANYTHING can happen! I'm no prognosticator as you can see:rolleyes: but I will say that this season has been encouraging no matter the outcome today. I'll be disappointed if they lose but I still believe they are on the rise.
I'm nervous and excited at the same time. Cowboys OL must keep Romo clean. Murray needs to have a big game. And the defense must keep Tate and Calvin J. in check. Getting pressure on Stafford is probably the only way to slow them down. That's the part that makes me nervous.
