I say yes. Definitely.

Too much credit is given to Bettis for being #6 career rushing, especially since he drops to like #14 looking at rushing & receiving, dropping behind the likes of Warrick Dunn, Tiki Barber, Edgerrin James, Steven Jackson +50 yards, RIcky Watters +150 yards.

Bettis is given credit for winning a Super Bowl, but he was a backup to Willie Parker, only gaining 408 yards that season. Nobody calls Steve Young a 3-time Super Bowl champion.

Bettis only has 3 years you can consider elite, adding a bunch of above-average years Tiki Barber and Edgerrin James had more top-notch years.

Bettis was a multi-year Pro Bowler and great back, but not great enough for a long enough player. Too many seasons with above-average production.

If you were an ATL or CAR fan do you want to win the division as a 7 win team? The likely hood of making noise in the playoffs is very small. Or would you rather be a 6 win team with considerably better draft position? Remember the draft order is based on teams that did not make the playoffs and those that did regardless of record.

Inactives haven't been shown on TV. And I'm not on twitter at the moment, so they might be posted.

The gist of what he said is in the OP. He basically said because Romo hasnt been asked to do much is why he hasn't thrown any backbreaking INTs.

That shows his basic stupidity about football.

I do not see brent even being active for the playoff game next week.

This was his opportunity. I'm surprised he's not active in what amounts to a 3 hour practice session against another team. Barring injury, I'd say we won't see Brent in action until next season.
