With only two games remaining the coaching staff needs to work on areas of team that will be needed in the playoffs vs great teams.

On offense, the OL needs to get ample opportunities to run the ball against stout DL and get them ready to play Bucs & 49ers front 7 that will be stingy in the playoffs. In addition the RB & WR group needs to spend extra time catching balls from the jug machine so no mental lapses happen in critical situations.

On the defense the front 7 needs to stop the running game for four quarters and create 3rd and long situation for the pass rushers to get lose. The secondary needs to work on press technique and communication for zone coverages.

On special teams cut down on penalties and make sure the techniques and fundamentals are down.

Just beat the damn team across from them. 27 years of excuses are getting old.

Then don't make any. lol There is a difference between excuses and reasons. Last year Dallas could not stop SF run game and it killed us. Offensively Cowboys could get nothing going and failed. To me those are not excuses they are clearly reasons why this team lost.

To an extent but todays rules on the hours you can practice and how many padded sessions you can have makes that more difficult. What Jimmy did in the 90’s wouldn’t fly today. Lol! Wish it would.

Yea but even non contact practice can improve player’s techniques and fundamentals rather than not doing anything. The players should put in overtime and work on individual drills after normal sessions.

Bucs offensive line is getting healthy.

Smith, Wirfs and Jensen all look to be back.

Could be worse. We could be the 49ers who haven't won in 28 years.

They have been in the playoffs consistently and made 2 SB appearance. That’s nothing to sneeze at. Cowboys need to one up them and go all the way to SB and win!

And yet other teams do just fine with the current rules.

Well, the Chiefs have won only 1 Super Bowl in the Mahomes era so far and the Bills have never won. At least one of them won't win this year either.

The point is a lot of teams do fine in the playoffs, so only the Cowboys get the excuse of limited practices and stuff? No, it's mental toughness and eating the cheese that Jerry offers. They go in overconfident and underprepared and fold when hit in the mouth..every.single.time.

Preparing isn't just practice. It's taking personal time and studying the opponents films. It's looking for weaknesses that you can exploit. It's about finding everything you can about the tendencies of the guys on the other side of the ball. That's not just on coaches. Every player hungry for a championship should be doing it.

I would sell out to destroy Brady in the first half. Give up a couple long throws and a penalty to crush him. History shows if you pound him you can beat him. Send the farm early and often.
