Bucs offensive line is getting healthy.

Smith, Wirfs and Jensen all look to be back.
Damn, I thought Jensen was done for the year. They've dealt with injuries along the line all year, if they get all 3 back then I think their offense can definitely put up points

Field goal post. Meet mover. Mover meet field goal post. Why does playoff success matter? Championships matter. Who cares about playoff success? Oh that's right..Field goal post movers do..my bad..carry on.

It’s a process, teams usually don’t make it to the SB and win it without having success in the playoff in the previous couple of years beforehand.

It takes planning & executing to be a SB winner.
You’re just all talk while I do the talk and walk the walk like a real winner.

And yet other teams do just fine with the current rules.

They may be more mentally tough but they’re playing by the same rules regarding practice. Perhaps those teams have coaches who hold players more responsible and have shorter leashes for guys who screw up. Or maybe they draft more tough minded players. And most importantly, those teams don’t have an owner players can run to when they don’t get their way. Jerry is the biggest reason this team has been so Charmin soft for so many years.

How we play is more important than who we play.

It's not a foregone conclusion TB will win the South. Carolina dominated them a few weeks ago 21-3 and I wouldn't be surprised if they do it again.

With only two games remaining the coaching staff needs to work on areas of team that will be needed in the playoffs vs great teams.

On offense, the OL needs to get ample opportunities to run the ball against stout DL and get them ready to play Bucs & 49ers front 7 that will be stingy in the playoffs. In addition the RB & WR group needs to spend extra time catching balls from the jug machine so no mental lapses happen in critical situations.

On the defense the front 7 needs to stop the running game for four quarters and create 3rd and long situation for the pass rushers to get lose. The secondary needs to work on press technique and communication for zone coverages.

On special teams cut down on penalties and make sure the techniques and fundamentals are down.

Where do you come up with this nonsense? Another horrid thread in a long line of useless threads.

The point is a lot of teams do fine in the playoffs, so only the Cowboys get the excuse of limited practices and stuff? No, it's mental toughness and eating the cheese that Jerry offers. They go in overconfident and underprepared and fold when hit in the mouth..every.single.time.

Preparing isn't just practice. It's taking personal time and studying the opponents films. It's looking for weaknesses that you can exploit. It's about finding everything you can about the tendencies of the guys on the other side of the ball. That's not just on coaches. Every player hungry for a championship should be doing it.
The Cowboys could very well win all of their playoff games this year.

Could be worse. We could be the 49ers who haven't won in 28 years.

That's not really worse. The 49ers have been to multiple conference championship games and two Super Bowls. We haven't been to any of that. From a fan's standpoint, that extra year isn't really noticeable.

Agreed. Jerry is the main problem.

I'll believe it when they actually do it. Their performance against certain teams this year shows the softness is still there. They had no business losing to Green Bay for example.

I would sell out to destroy Brady in the first half. Give up a couple long throws and a penalty to crush him. History shows if you pound him you can beat him. Send the farm early and often.
Send the farm and make sure it gets there in time and pound him .( not cheap roughing penalties)

Hard to do better than 13 and 4. That isn't very soft if you ask me.

What did Jerry do. He is not the one throwing interceptions or not tackling a running back. He is sitting in the stands like us though luxury setting.

The regular season record means squat. It's what they do in the playoffs that matters at that point. 13 and 4 gets you there, but what you do then determines if you're soft or not.

They aren't soft. They are very good. Having the best record in the NFC over a 2 year period certainly means something. Think what you will. Enjoy the ride.
