I try not to read too much into any player quotes as they can be easily transposed or manipulated by the time they hit the public eye.
I think Dak is a good guy and he means no ill will to Rush. However, he's a veteran player, he's been hurt and gettting banged up and got paid dearly. He's not playing, and his last game was bad and not adding anything to this string of success.
I would think he would have the maturity to stay out of the media light for a few weeks and gear up to let his play do the talking when he's ready to go.
He is just answering questions the media are asking. If he were to go radio silent, the narrative would be that he’s sulking or being petty or whatever.
His thumb injury is a story because the media is hyper focused on it and want to stir up juicy headlines and controversies about Rush vs Dak etc…
Whatever Dak says at this point will be twisted and used against him, and he will be guilty until proven innocent lol…
Again- I’m not a Prescott apologist, but he is a better QB and human being than how he is being treated lol
