Statistically...Prescott's best season since becoming the starter. The running game is the weakest he has ever had. The 2023 numbers are good enough to reach the Superbowl. However, other factors that will affect the final outcome are:

1. Getting more from Luepke (blocking), Dowdle and Pollard in the run game. They did just that against the Commanders.
2. Getting better play from the linebacker group against the run. The return of Hankins should help.
3. Good protection from the o-line. TJ Bass has shown some skills if there are problems at guard.

The stars are more aligned now than they've ever been since 1995. Not sure if they have what it takes to knock out the 49ers but they should at least get the chance to find out. If this team had 2016 Zeke, it would be a no-brainer.

This is why he should be considered for MVP. He’s had to lead an offense with no running game.

Why do the low IQ haters and imposters here on this board always seem to conveniently leave out the fact that we have a weak running game when placing blame on Dak???

That's interesting that they NEVER factor in Dak having to run a one dimensional offense.

And when Zeke was in his prime, they said Dak only looked good because of the running game.

Dallas has an average run game by all measures. No awful, not great.

People keep saying we have no run game.
Well, we have a better run game than half the league, we would just like it to better than it is.

Especially since they use to claim Dak was being carried and had to have an All Pro team around him….

Or that its a team game with 3 phases plus coaching decisions that determine outcomes.

Dak doesnt play every position on both sides of the ball or special teams. He doesnt call defensive plays.

Its convenient.

If you factor in the other 10 starters on offense, I bet every team in the league--other than 2-3 exceptions--would to have this version of "less"

I do think Dak is a much better QB now than he was early in his career, regardless of stats.
