Prescott has a request for fans attending the game

No it's the fans in Dallas. They suck at being good fans.
Dallas is a winners town as Troy labeled it so well.

It’s not the same crowd we had at Texas Stadium with one of the best home field advantages in the NFL at 67%.

Most of the Diehards didn’t make the trip from Irving to Arlington. Jerrys attracting more of the corporate climate and business atmosphere who are there to be seen and entertain their clients.

And this is something I can back him on.

The Cowboys have had a difficult time establishing a homefield advantage at AT&T Stadium over the years, but they finished 7-1 at home in 2018, which is a positive heading into Saturday’s wild card game against Seattle. Dak Prescott said he expects an “epic environment,” inside the stadium but he also has a request: "I can only just think back to two years ago, obviously my rookie year, playing the Packers and just how crazy that atmosphere was. Going down early like we did but then being able to come back and have that game be close right there at the end, and just remembering the crowd and everyone going crazy. I just hope when I signal for everyone to be quiet that they be quiet this game, knowing how important it is for us to communicate. Hopefully the fans are working well with us but then when we’re on defense, showing how loud they can be.”

Just what the hell is wrong with our fans and this issue? Do we not care, have we eaten too much? Are we lazy? Do we find the mustard stain on our shirt more funny and entertaining?, Are our minds hyperactive and we start thinking about everything good with bacon?

I don't understand.

The most distracting feature in the stadium is Jerrytron. Most fans aren’t even watching the play on the field. Very strange but if I had to anything over it would removing that monstrosity.

They sucked at Texas stadium also.

A big part of it is the type of fan in attendance. At $350 for average lower level tickets it takes out much of the white collared crowd. And with Texas strict alcohol laws they are probably the soberest crowd in the NFL.

But we had a definite home field advantage.

We didn’t have these huge opposing fan numbers in attendance at Texas Stadium.

Cowboy fans aren’t a rowdy crowd. In Irving most everyone was sober. No alcohol was served until last few years beer was allowed and of course no tailgating or open fires.

Alcohol on Sundays in Texas before Noon is still illegal to be purchased and consumed in public.

Earlier this year I made a joke thread about this very issue. I think the mods deleted it tho.
I think it happens in a lot of other places but it just seems particularly bad in Dallas, maybe because I watch more Cowboys games than any other team and/or I'm a Cowboys fan.

Good luck...been to the stadium many times..rarely does it get up for games..granted, 2009 playoff game vs Philly was pretty good..

Hopefully tomorrow night will be similar

Edit*** I was at the game dak referenced above..GB took the crowd out early..which is normal...but yes, it was live at the end..
I went to the 2014(Detroit) and 2016 (Packers)playoff games and they were loud. One thing about Dallas area teams ; when playoffs come, the crowd gets loud. When we played Green Bay I could barely hear my Dad right next to me and he was yelling. It was that loud. Everyone was waving those white towels and when Jeff Heath sacked Rodgers, I and everyone else went into a frenzy I thought the roof was about to blow off. Then Rodgers throws a pass and they kick a field goal. The Dallas fans can get really loud. I think we got up to like 119 not 128 like KC or Seattle but really loud especially for Dallas

Back in 2009, the Cowboys used to flash a "Quiet Please....Offense at Work" notice on the big Jumbotron when Romo and the offense were at the line. Do they still do that?

Sucks that Dak even has to say this. Football fan 101....scream like hell when they have the ball. Cheer when your team does good things on offense, but let them do their jobs.

Could you imagine Wilson having to say this in Seattle??

Quiet. Offense at work needs to be added to the gameday screenery
