2016 was a amazing team. Shocked the NFL with a rookie QB that was playing that well. Then last year we were making a push and our top 5 Defense completely fell apart. Haven’t been the same since the rams playoff game. Now we just play super simple Defense.

Cowboys need to get a coach like Ron Rivera who teaches discipline, but coaches players to play with physicality and smart aggressiveness.

His defense has never been worse than top 10 for most of his career.

If we want to say Dallas could've advanced a game further with a better defensive effort, that fine.
But to say they make it all the way to the Super Bowl and win it is total dreamland theory and speculation.

All you have to do is recall what happened to New England in 2007....and our offense wasn't in the same universe as that one.

Seems like every year Dak played well he heavely relied on Beasely. Really kept the chains moving that guy. Open quick over the middle right in front of your face. It's beneficial. We also relied on the run and short passing game more.

Honestly missing a guy like Dez too that can go up and get it. Don't get me wrong Gallop does seem to have those skills just not quite on the level of Dez though. I'd feel much better even "now" with Dez in that situation in the waning moments.

NO Rookie in the history of the NFL has ever gotten to a SB let alone win it. Dak had an amazing rookie season but that is one stat that doesn't seem like it will ever change, and you are right that 2016 team was an amazing team that might actually have won the SB that season had the team given the starting QB job back to their All Pro QB when he was healthy enough to play

NO Rookie in the history of the NFL has ever gotten to a SB let alone win it.
