Prescott plans to continue being a mobile QB

yeah there ain't no way this team is gonna allow him to be mobile, not unless they wanna really see who Joe Milton III is.
I could see Schotty liking an old Denver type offense. QBs weren’t really scrambling but they did a lot of boots and moved the pocket. Also sets up well for the run game. They were able to plug backs in over and over with no fall off.

Who is a current NFL coach that has ties to that sort of scheme? Kyle Shanahan.

That’s also something his dad would’ve been very familiar with facing them in division with the Chargers and Chiefs.

Last time Dak was mobile, he tore meat of the bone...
The ankle injury in 2020 but the injury that gets overlooked is the calf injury the following year...I don't think he's had the same agility since then. Now with the gruesome hamstring injury, forget about it...

is there anyone left here who actively wants him to succeed?
LOL.......doesn't seem like it. My question are we talking about him being mobile or running? There's a difference.......I mean if you look at his running attempts per game over the years, he's never been much of a running QB. But there's no reason he can't move around void sacks and/or pass rush.

I think his contract and injury from last season have destroyed any credibility he had left. He's probably better off talking less and showing more sense of urgency.

- Mobile in RPO at the goal line ..

- mobile per scrambling in pass situations.. to buy time to throw

- mobile in play action/roll out passes

- mobile in scrambling to escape upfield to " slide" to ground , or run out of bounds unharmed.

- I'm most interested in using Prescott mobility and play action in the same sense of Lions Jared Goff ... not Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts, Jackson, Mahomes. etc.

This post cannot be debated. You're 100% correct!! Thats why it's mind boggling to my how Jim Kelly elevated nobody in FOUR TRIES in the Superbowl, and he had many players around him playing Pro-bowl caliber.

Then you had quarterbacks like Nick Foles and Trent Dilfer who were able elevate their teams to a Superbowl victory in their FIRST try.

Yet, non Superbowl winning quarterbacks like Kelly and Dan Marino are respected and revered more than Nick Foles and Trent Dilfer who ARE Superbowl winning quarterbacks.
So I am supposed to assume Hurts elevated Barkley. Give me a break.

Way too much credit is given to and way too much is blamed on the QB for the teams success.

Dak is a statue unless it’s a designed rollout play or a designed running play. His ability to escape pressure in the pocket is bottom tier. He’s not necessarily slow (or fast) but he’s NOT a mobile QB.

He's our starting QB, so yeah, I want him to succeed, unlikely as it may be.
We all should WANT him to succeed, but aside from the Stans, there isn't anyone left who still believes it will happen. Google AI says there are an estimated 16 Pearl Harbor survivors still alive, and they outnumber the Dak fans still hanging around.

The Only thing mobile about Dak is the trailer park he is living in until his house is rebuilt.
:lmao:
