Rarely do I pass on an open shot at this ridiculous front office, but I think I’m going to wait for Ridgeway to become anything at all before wasting emotion on this one.

He is a guy you’d look for to make big strides in year two, but he is also kinda blocked there for now.

So not putting Dak on the 4-week IR cost Dallas DT John Ridgeway for ultimately nothing.

It was silly for the Cowboys not to put Dak on IR, we all knew it was zero chance he would be ready so soon. However, I'm not pining over losing John Ridgeway. I think we all got excited because he was a 320+ pound defensive linemen that was drafted. Bohana was the pet cat last year didn't show much in year 1 so was placed aside for Ridgeway in our hearts. Then Bohana outplayed Ridgeway in camp.

I don't think it was a question about Dak not wanting to come back. He's a competitor. As for the outcome we'll see, we assumed the Bengals game was a loss too.

The part that bothered me….

Jerry initially said he could possibly play in two weeks.

Three weeks later he claims that everything went as well as it possibly could, yet still couldn’t play.

Proof of constant used car salesman BS and it’s just bad overall. Learn to shut up. Everything doesn’t have to be a hard sell. People remember it and don’t appreciate it.

Then again it’s possible that every single team employee is a yes man, even the doctors, and tell Jerry what he wants to hear or be gone.

DT is a position of needing an upgrade I wouldn’t hold your breath on Ridgeway being that guy

It’s interesting because no one has run on the Cowboys up the guts of the D . Teams are making $ on the edge . That’s not on the DT . And from my perspective Gallimore Bohana and OSA are three nice recent draft picks . Not putting 4 on an IR stint may have cost Dallas a Ridgeway but I’m not sure that’s much .
