I mean they had plenty of guys they could've cut. Dennis Houston, Trysten Hill.......Fehoko.....yet they cut Ridgeway. Every team has a player of Ridgeway's caliber on their roster. Cowboys find their way to get one every offseason that's usually a guy undrafted.

no it doesn’t justify cutting him, it means he’s the last man on the roster aka beat man to make the roster over the rest of the field.

the issue here isn’t on him as a player; he may be terrible, be great; whatever.:.:the issue is the the injury was a 6 to 8 week one and there was literally zero chance dak would be back in 4 weeks so smart management would have put dak on short term ir and used the roster spot.

It wasn't 6 to 8 weeks though lol. They were being optimistic. They risked Ridgeway. I don't see the issue. I see where you're coming from though. I don't think its a issue if you thought there was a chance Dak was coming back. I think they were expecting to be down some games and were hoping for the best.
